*A WEEK LATER*

I wake up to my alarm blaring. I sat up reaching for my phone turning it off. I sigh getting out of bed. I grab a random pair of joggers from the floor. I put on a hoodie. I grab my deodorant and put it on.

"Kiara?" My dad knocked at the door.

"I Know I'm almost done" I say. I grabbed my vape putting it into my bra, I grabbed my phone putting it in my pocket.

I walk out my room seeing my dad standing in the doorway. "lets go" I walk past him and downstairs.

I walk out to the car getting in the passenger seat. Shortly after my dad got in, starting the car. He backed out the driveway and began driving.

"Are you gonna find a ride to school soon?" He asked taking a quick pause. "cause its causing me to be late to w-" He stopped because I interrupted him.

"okay dad, I get it. I'll find someone to ride with, since its such an inconvenience that your daughter needs a ride to school." I loom out the window again.

My dad pulls into my school. "I love you." He smiled.

"Love you too" I got out the car sighing. I went Inside putting my hood over my head and put in my AirPods. I played 'Still don't know my name'. I walk to my locker putting my things away put keeping out my binder and my book.

I felt a pressure on my shoulder. I turned around taking out my AirPods.

"Oh, hey" I smiled at Nate.

Recently me and Nate have become friends. He's been helping me through everything, stopping me from completely going off edge. He's really nice and is really smart so he's also been helping me get my school back on track.

"Got those papers?" He asked.

"Yeah" I opened my binder and gave him my absent excuses. He told me to write that someone in my family had died recently and Ive been struggle so they will mark most of my absents as excused.

"These are good." He handed me the papers back.

"So this will work?" I asked

"It should."

"thanks." I smiled at him. "of course" he smiled back.

"No, not just for that for everything, without you I probably would've gone off the rails by now." I laughed a little as we began walking.

"Yeah?" he gave me a stare.

"Yeah." I smiled looking away. "Ill see you at lunch?" I asked as we stopped at my first period.

"Yeah." he nodded. He grabbed my hand kissing it as he normally does. I smiled walking into the class room where I saw Colbys seat still empty. I sat down and pulled my hood off.

I took out my homework and gave it to my teacher as she came around.

She passed out our classwork and I began doing it, it was pretty simple. I never really noticed how easy this class was because I never rally payed attention.

"ptss" I heard a voice. I turned around and saw Katrina.

"Hey." she smiled. "hey" I waved.

"Wanna come over tonight? Sam, Jake, Tara and I, are gonna watch a movie." She invited me.

"I'm down" I nodded.

Speaking of Tara, Where we left off at jakes party wasn't the best. Tara did it for me though, I understand why she didn't want to tell me, because she knew how I would react. Yeah she could've told me before, but she did try to warn me, but I didn't listen. Anyways, we are better now, we are talking more again.

"Cool" Katrian smiled them focused back on her work.

"cool." I whispered as I looked back at my work. It got me thinking...

if Sam and Jake were gonna be there, Isn't Colby? If he hasn't been coming to school he won't go to a party right? If Colby was gonna be there Kat would tell me. He won't be there. He Can't be there.

I Finished my work and brung it up to the front turning it in. I sat back down and started getting my things together. The bell rang. I put my bag on my walked out the class room. I walked back down to my locker and grabbed my stuff for gym.

"Kie?" I heard his voice.

I closed my locker and turned around taking a look at him. We made eye contact for a few seconds, until I started walking away. He tried to talk but I walked away to quickly before he could. I walked into the bathroom and went into the stall closing the door behind me.

I can't look at him again, cause it kills me to see his face.
