I wake up to a small noise from my phone.
I look at Nate who was asleep. I smiled slightly and stood up, going to my closet grabbing a pair of loose jeans and a red crop. I changed and walked into the bathroom brushing my hair and teeth.
"Kiara?" I heard a voice from my phone, I walked back to my room, unplugging my phone.
"Hey sorry, I was getting dressed." I explain
"It's okay, you look good." He smiled a bit.
I smiled back, "Ima go though, pick me up in 25?" I asked.
"Yeah, bye beautiful."
"Bye" I smiled hanging up the phone.
I then finished getting ready.

Nate pulled into to school. I go to get out bug he grabs my arm.
"Wait"
I shut the door. "What's up?" I asked confused.
He smiled, pushing my hair behind my ears. Ge caressed my cheek.
He leaned it to kiss my lips, but I pulled back, "Uhm. I-"
Nate interrupted me "shit, I'm sorry" he sighed.
"No it's okay, I like you Nate, just not yet." I grab his hand.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah." I smiled. "Let's go" I opened the door.
We got out the car and he locked it, we started walking and I interlocked my hand with his. He looked down smiling.
We got up to the front and he quickly let go of my hand, I look down confused.
We got inside the school, "Ima go with my friends" he whispered, I nodded as I walked to my locker.
I put my bag in there grabbing the things I need, I closed it seeing Colby.
"Oh." I paused.
"Hey." He looked at me anxiously.
"Uhm hi" I bit the inside of my cheek.
"So? Do you wanna come hang out at jakes Saturday?" He asked.
"Sorry I have plans." I couldn't look him in the eye.
"Yeah right, sorry." He leaned against the locker.
"I got to get to class." I pushed my lips together and began to walk away but Colby grabbed my arm, pulling me pretty close to him.
I looked around not wanting people to see us.
"Are we not gonna talk about yesterday?" He looked down at me.
"What about yesterday?"
"When I kissed you, you kissed back, you didn't pull away instantly, I've been thinking about it all night. Part of you wanted to kiss me." He whispered.
I finally looked him in the eye.
"No. Colby. I'm not crawling back to you." I have a stern look.
"Now I'm going to class." I pulled from him walking away.
What the hell? How did he know that? I'm not gonna crawl back to him, I can't.
