Colby pulls into the restaurant parking. "Where are we eating exactly?" I asked as he parked.

"I don't even know, some sushi restaurant." He shrugged, turning off the car.

We get out the car and Colby grabs my hand. I smile. We walk in and it was a seat yourself, so we just sat down.

"So.. what are you gonna get?" I asked. "I have no clue." He smiled.

"You?" He asked. "Uhm I've never really eaten sushi, so I don't know what's good"

"Are you for real? Ima get a few different things, so you can try different ones." Colby smiled. I nodded.

"So Uhm, when you move to la-" Colby interrupted me, "we".

I looked at him. "I don't know if I can yet, also isn't moving in with each-other a big step?" I asked.

"Why not take it? We're young we have our whole lives ahead of us, I would like you to be in mine." Colby looked away.

"Well, depending on if I do decide, also partly up to my dad since I'm not eighteen yet, would we share a room or have separate rooms?" I asked.

Colby smiled, "do you wanna share a room?" He shot me a side eye with a small smile.

I shrugged smiling.

Then the waiter came up to us taking our orders. I just let Colby order for me because I had no clue what to get.

"Okay now try this one" Colby picked up a piece of sushi with his chopsticks.

"Damn. Nah that's one's the best" I nodded my head.

"Really?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

I nodded swallowing the food, taking a sip of my water.

"So, tonight, when we ask your dad, do you want me to ask or you? It would make more sense if you.." Colby's voice faded as I saw Nate out of the Conner of my eye, grabbing a bag from the front counter.

"Kie?" I heard Colby call my name, I saw Nate turn back making eye contact with me. "What?" I heard Colby again and he turned around, seeing Nate. He went to go get up but I grabbed his arm.

"No. Colby no." I look at him sternly.

He kept glaring at Nate as he left, then once he caught eyes with me again the glare dropped.

"Is everything okay, can I get you any refills?" The waiter ask.

"No ma'am, just the check please." I nodded, giving her a small smile, she returned the favor walking off.

"Kie I'm sorry." He sighed.

"No it's fine, I get it, your pissed at him but please Colby stop always trying to fight. That's how you got expelled in the first place." I shook my head, grabbing my purse.

"Your right, I'm sorry. Also put that away, I'm paying."

"Ha no." I put my card in the checkbook and handed it back to the waiter.

Eventually she came back with the check, "thank you so much." I smiled, she smiled back.

I took my card out putting it back in my wallet. Colby stood up. "Before we go to your house, I need to run by cvs."

"Why?" I looked at him. "Just need a few things." He smirked. "Right" I playfully rolled my eyes, he opened the car door for me and I got in. He got in on his side starting the car. He backed out of the parking space and started driving. I felt his hand on my thigh. I smiled grabbing his hand.

"It's weird that we are dating now." I laughed. "Is it?" He looked at me for a quick second then back at the road.

"Yeah, I just never actually thought it would happen, I always just thought we would stay friends."

"We're we ever really just friends." Colby laughed a little. "Shut up" I rolled my eyes. He brung our hands to his lips, kissing the back of my hand gently.

"So, with prom, luckily, they didn't tell me I couldn't go, so..." he didn't even finish before I said.. "Yes Colby, I'll go to prom with you"

"Damn let me finish." He laughed.

I just shrugged smiling.
