POV Elise

I entered my dressing room and opened my laptop. My fingers flew across the keyboard as I typed in "Waking up in a different reality" and began to search. After some digging, I found the term "Reality Shifting" and began reading about what it entailed.
Reality Shifting turned out to be a concept where people attempted to transfer their consciousness to another reality, dimension, or universe. The idea was that you could 'shift' yourself to an alternate reality where everything could be different from your own world. Some people did this as a form of escapism, to temporarily escape their own problems or reality.
As I absorbed the information, I realized that this was precisely what had happened to me and this Elise. We had swapped worlds, realities. This explained why I had woken up in an upscale hotel room and why my scar had disappeared. It was a mind-boggling discovery, but it explained many of the strange occurrences I had experienced.

After making this discovery, I stood up without giving it further thought and walked into the dressing room next to mine. I knocked briefly but immediately entered. Inside, I found the guys engrossed in a foosball game, and my significant discovery seemed momentarily forgotten in the joyful backstage atmosphere.
"Aaaah, Elise!" Georg exclaimed. "We're losing to the twins, help us!" I couldn't help but laugh. "And just a while ago, you were losing, Tom," I teased. "It's a twin thing," Tom mumbled with a smile. "And by the way, nobody can beat me!"
"Oooh, that's a deal, Tom!" I exclaimed excitedly. I took Georg and Gustav's places as Bill stepped aside. In the other world, I happened to be quite good at foosball. At the hotel where I worked, I occasionally played foosball with a colleague during our breaks.
It didn't take long for Tom to realize how good I was, and he eventually had to admit his defeat. The competitive atmosphere and the joy of the game brought a smile to my face, and for a moment, I forgot the complex situation I was in. It was nice to just have fun with the guys backstage.
As we enthusiastically continued with the foosball game, I noticed that the guys were completely absorbed in the match. Tension was in the air, but so were bursts of laughter and cheers. It felt good to be part of this moment, even if it was just for a while.
Bill, Georg, and Gustav were determined to restore their honor after losing to Tom and me earlier. They played with enthusiasm and determination, but Tom and I weren't about to give up easily.
After an intense battle with the ball flying back and forth and goals being scored on both sides, I ultimately made the winning goal. The guys erupted into loud cheers, and I felt proud that I had managed to beat them, even if it was only in a foosball game.

As we left the foosball table, Tom suddenly whispered to me that he wanted to talk to me privately. My immediate reaction was to decline. I had no idea what Tom wanted to talk about, but I didn't want my discovery to leak out before I had a chance to talk to Bill. Tom grumbled something incomprehensible in response, and I could tell he was frustrated.
"Elise, I really didn't expect you to be this good!" Gustav exclaimed, with Georg nodding in agreement. They were surprised that I was such a skilled foosball player, as the other Elise never played with them.
I shrugged and indicated that I could appreciate the fun and that it was nice to play together. The atmosphere in the dressing room was light and cheerful, but we were soon reminded of the reality when David came in and instructed us to go to makeup and put on our clothing. The show would start in a few hours, and I needed to prepare for my performance.
We followed David's instructions and headed to the makeup room. The excitement and anticipation of the upcoming show were now beginning to manifest. Makeup artists worked on our looks as we got into our stage outfits.
While I sat in the makeup chair and the makeup artist worked on my look, I couldn't help but let my mind wander to the strange situation I found myself in. I had discovered that I had switched realities with another version of myself, and my head was spinning with questions and confusion.
After the makeup session, we went to the dressing room to make the final preparations. Bill came over and asked how I was feeling. I wanted to talk to him about what I had discovered, but now was not the right moment. We needed to focus on the performance and ensure that everything would go off without a hitch.
As time passed, and the moment of the performance drew closer, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. It was a crucial moment, and I knew I had to give it my all on stage, even if my thoughts were distracted by the mysterious twists of fate.
