The Other Halfa Danny Phantom: The series

Mystery Meat: Part 5

"Both," Tuck said happily as Danny and I gave him a look. "What? They're both really good." He said with his mouth beginning to water.

 "We'll take care of the ghost you just find a way to get Sam out of that pile of meat," Danny told Tucker pointing at me and him. 

Lifting a fork and knife Tucker said blankly "Way ahead of you." 

Danny and I flew up to the Lunch Lady and Danny punched her in the face. She covered her face as I kicked her as hard as I could sending her flying into the wall. 

"I'll have you free in no time Sam!" Tuck said digging into the pile of meat.

 Looking a bit mad Sam stated, "You've gotta be kidding me."

 Jumping up and doing a flip Danny went to kick the Lunch Lady again but she grabbed his foot looking bored already.

Hanging him upside down from his foot she asked "Don't you see? This is why you need meat! You're skin and bones!" 

Throwing Danny into me we were knocked to the wall. I grab hold of him and turned us intangible as we went halfway through the wall. Using her powers the Lunch Lady opened a box of shish kebobs and threw them at us like darts. I flew out of the way while Danny disattached himself to avoid being hit. Filled with fury, she summoned all the meat to make her battle armor including the meat that trapped Sam setting her free before Tucker could even take a bite. The Lunch Lady grabbed me and Danny with Sam and Tucker running up to try and help.  

"Helps on the way buddies!" Tucker shouted, lifting his fork and knife as the Lunch Lady turned around and threw us. Screaming we went intangible flying through the wall. 

"Run?" Tuck asked. 

"Run," Sam stated as they made a beeline for the exit while screaming. 

The Lunch Lady threw a fist, blocking the door with another pile of meat. Phasing back through the wall we saw our friends being chased. Danny raced towards them grabbing Sam and Tuck, phasing through the wall while I led the Lunch Lady into a wall, phasing through it. Tiredly I flew home and collapsed on my bed.

Danny carried his friends out of the school, his eyes beginning to droop.

 "Gee Danny fighting meat monsters, flying through walls? You must be exhausted," Sam pointed out. 

"What? Of course not! What would give you that idea?" Danny asked, yawning halfway through his sentence before dropping his friends and fainting from fighting so much. 

Sam and Tucker exchanged looks before picking Danny up and carry him home.

Jazz walked into her house when she noticed how quiet it was. "Mom? Dad?" She asked before being gassed as she heard her father shout.

"Now Maddie! Hit her! I'm moving in! Get my back!" 

When the smoke had cleared Jazz was not happy that a strange vacuum was sucking her hair and her parents were holding her by her feet. They let go as Jazmine stormed off.

"This is all going in the memoir."

 I wake up and try to remember what happened as I got up. Opening a window to breathe some fresh air I noticed Sam and Tuck carrying Danny, gasping I rushed downstairs to help. 

"What happened? Did that ghost knock Danny out?" I asked grabbing ahold of Danny.

Tuck looked at me worriedly as he stated "You saw the ghost? Uh...Yeah, that ghost lady grabbed Sam and Danny tried to free her which ended up knocking him out, and when Sam was free we saw him still unconscious."

 Looking at both my friends I asked, "Sam that must've been terrifying are you ok?"

Laughing it off a bit Sam stated "Yeah yeah, I'm fine a ghost boy and girl helped me. But um (y/n) don't mention this to his parents he doesn't need the embarrassment of having his parents at school or them pestering him when he wakes up."

 "Neither do I," I said as we opened the door.

"Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton what a school day poor Danny nodded off. We figured we'd just carry him all the way home and tuck him into bed without any parental interaction whatsoever."

"Don't get up we know where to go bye!" 

"Nothing suspicious here just another case of a teenager staying up too late," The three of us make our comments taking Danny upstairs as the conversation between Mr. and Mrs. Fenton discussing Danny being a ghost fades. 

When Danny finally woke up he panicked looking around, asking "What's going on?" 

"You passed out. We took you home, you've been asleep for four days." 

Jumping up Danny shouted "Four days?!" 

Chuckling Tuck responded with "Nah, it's only been a couple of hours."

Getting angry Sam said, "Knock it off Tucker this is the second time today your carelessness almost got him killed."

"Uh, guys? What is (y/n) doing here? Was she hurt?" Danny asked in confusion as he noticed me walking out of his bathroom with a glass of water for him.

"What are you two arguing about now?" I asked Sam and Tucker before noticing Danny was awake.

Putting the cup on the bedside table I pull him in for a bear hug.

"Danny you're awake! Are you ok? I was so worried about you," I hug a little tighter as a silent apology for not protecting I didn't even see him anywhere during the fight.

 Chuckling Danny returned the hug saying "I'm fine (y/n) I'm just glad you're ok."
