My face was smashed into a pumpkin, juice splattering all over. Getting up I turn my attention to the ghost eel floating before us as it makes an attempt to escape but we fly after it and begin to catch up. I grab ahold of the eel's tail but it soon only slipped out of my grasp as I continued to try and grab it's tail just long enough to slow it down. It thwacks the top of my head before stopping and looking at us. "Your one slippery ghost eel but I bet you don't know this trick."

Danny sends an ectoblast towards the eel, who only consumes it before its eyes glow red. "Okay, maybe you do," Danny mutters before being blasted into the school where he knocks into a ladder, that was holding purple paint as it splashed onto Dash's letterman and Danny reverts back.

Dash picks up Danny and gets in his face shouting "Defacing my letter jacket? That's a violation punishable by wedgie!" "Grapes of Raff, break it up! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't suspend you both for fighting on school property?" Mr. Lancer asked walking up to the two, clipboard in hand. " "Uh...I'm a football star?" "True. Still, I must at least pretend to be fair and you two need a more creative outlet for your aggression."

Lancer stated and I round the corner, walking next to Danny and crossing my arms as I ask "Abusing your power as a teacher and playing favoritism with Dash again, Mr. Lancer?" "Are you looking for trouble for yourself (l/n)?" He retaliates and I roll my eyes thinking back to all the ghost fighting I've done since being enrolled in Casper High.

"Does it matter? Judging from your previous statement you're going to hold detention over their heads because it's going to benefit you somehow." I say glaring at him and he points a pencil at me saying "True. As you two know," He directs his attention back to Danny and Dash as he continues "Every year one of the faculty puts together a haunted house party at the abandoned townsmen place, and this year it's my turn and I am bound and determined to decorate it better than Ms. Testlaff did last year." Lancer said showing the boys what was on his clipboard when we heard knuckles cracking and we looked over to see Ms. Testlaff. "Fat chance, you'll never outdo my Frankengurken-stein monster." She said showing a picture of herself dressed as the Frankengurken-stein.

"Welcome aboard Team Lancer, gentlemen. The scariest room avoids detention. Football star or not." Lancer say before walking away as Sam and Tucker walk up. "Scary? Haunted house? This is great, I am totally going to kick his butt." Danny exclaims happily as he crosses his arms as Dash butts into the conversation. "You think so Fentonsofun? How about a little side bet?"

I sigh as I facepalm myself when Danny accepts. "Sure, if I win you have to run through the school parking lot in your underwear." "Okay, and when you taste defeat you have to eat these!" He reaches into his letterman to pull out worn out and stinky underwear. We all scream and flinch back away from it at Tuck says "I don't know what's scarier: the underwear or the fact that he carries them around in his coat." "Definitely the fact that he's carrying them in his coat," I state, shivering in disgust as the two boys shake on it. "What if we did something with skeletons? See how scary is that?"

Danny asks, sketching out a skeleton strangling Dash and showing it to Tuck. "On a scale of not to ten- Not." Danny ripped out the drawing, crumpling it up and tossed it into the trash bin which was filled with failed ideas. "How about this?" He transforms and goes under his bed, turning invisible as he lifts the blanket and saying "Boooooooo!"

Sam had walked in stating "Lame. Also, you might wanna change back, (y/n) will be up in a minute." With a huff, Danny changes back exclaiming "Oh man, Halloween's a week away and I still don't have a clue for what I'm gonna do for my haunted house room." "Which is why Sam and I picked this book up at the old bookshop where we like to skulk and lurk," I stated, walking into the room and pointing at the book Sam had taken out of her bag. "Chronicles of the Fright Knight?"

Danny asked flipping open the book to a page with a picture of a knight with a fire burning on his helmet as he rode what looked to be a mixture of a unicorn and a bat with fire for its mane and tail and on its hooves.

"He's the age-old spirit of Halloween. Legend has it that if his sword: the Soul Shredder cuts through you, you get teleported to another dimension where you live out your worst fear." Sam said as Danny kept flipping through the book when he landed on a page with a drawing of the Fright Knight's Lair. "Wait a minute I've seen this before," Danny mutters as he opens up his drawer and grabs his makeshift map of the Ghost Zone. The picture in the book and the map Danny had grabbed looked exactly the same. " Look familiar?"

He asks looking up at his friends. "It matches the map we've been making of the Ghost Zone!" Tuck exclaims excitedly. "This is great! He's a ghost and he's the spirit of Halloween? That means I can take the best ideas from this guy and fuse them into my haunted house room." Danny says, picking up the book and flipping through the pages again.
