The Other Halfa Danny Phantom: The series

Pirate Radio: Part 5

Before I could say anything though Paulina had marched off and Danny had moved on as he continued to explain the plan. "Sam? You keep scratching it's our only weapon against that ghost ship," He said through a radio before grabbing a bunch of weapons that looked like the Nine-Tails but could do more.

 "Kwan, you're on defense. Protect Sam and keep her on the air. Dash you're with me and (y/n) on offense. We're gonna spring the adults from the pirate ship." Danny explained and Dash asked, "So I get to hit, people?"  "Oh yeah, NOT ME!" Danny cried when Dash grabbed him by the collar and I forced him to let go as he quickly apologized. "Sorry, old habits." 

"Alright, people let's move!" Danny shouted as we handed everyone their weapons and an orange jumpsuit with black boots, gloves, sashes, and backpacks. All that was left to do was to wait for Paulina to disguise Tucker as an adult; while waiting I found Danny in the ops center talking with Sam for a minute before walking a little way and take a deep breath so I walk over to him to see what was wrong.

"Danny are you alright? Or are you just preparing yourself like the rest of us?" I ask while crossing my arms and he gives me a small smile. "Yeah I'm fine just a little anxious I guess but if we're going to stop Ember and Youngblood we have to do this." He exclaimed rubbing the back of his neck before clenching his fists. "Your right we have to do this and I know we can! This isn't the first time we've dealt with ghosts so no matter what we will win!" I say encouragingly as I lift my hand for a fist bump and he does the same before we fist bump giving an explosion sound as we open our fists to resemble an explosion and start chuckling about it.

  It was these moments that I loved the most. It served as a reminder that we don't always have to act like a couple that was head over heels in love and we could just enjoy each other's company as if we were friends.

It was also these moments that made the whole thing feel surreal like we weren't actually together only to be brought back into the reality that yes Danny was in fact my boyfriend.

"(y/n) are you ok?" I hear Danny ask and I'm brought back from my thoughts as I explain. "Yeah, I'm fine just spaced out for a minute there." "You know that's one of the things I love about you right?" "What that I space out?" I ask with a slight smirk. "No, the fact that you're always there for people when they need help; I can always count on you to lift my spirits when I'm down," Danny tells me as he grabs hold of my hands and I can feel the blood rush to my cheeks again as I avoid eye contact.

 I soon hear Danny chuckle as I look up at him with a questioning face. "Why are you getting embarrassed? It's true." "I-I'm not." I stutter slightly kissing my teeth after the words left my lips. "You know your too cute sometimes right?" He asks me and I roll my eyes in a joking way as I point at my face and say "Then you clearly haven't seen this in the morning after it wakes up." He lets out another chuckle as he says "I didn't fall for you because of your looks, I fell for you because of your personality."

"Sorry I haven't cleaned that in awhile it must be dirty as heck." Danny lets out a breath as he shakes his head asking "What am I gonna do with you?" "I ask myself that question daily." We both started to laugh at that point any anxiety or nervousness completely washed away.

Once our laughter had subsided Danny grabbed my hands again and leaned down for a kiss when Sam interrupted. "Uh hey guys I'm still here and Paulina radioed Tuck's ready." She said pointing at her walkie-talkie. 

Sam...I still don't know how she feels about me and Danny she refused to talk about it but no matter what she thought though we were still gonna be together. Little did I know Sam hated it, she didn't want to but she did. She didn't exactly know when her feelings for Danny started but she knows she began to notice them when she got jealous anytime I was close to Danny and every time it only made her angrier and angrier. Of course, she hid it what else could she do? She couldn't stop Danny from making friends and she honestly did want another girl in their friend group but with each passing day her feelings for Danny only seemed to grow and now she just wasn't sure.

Tucker walked along the sidewalk to Fenton Works and shouted "Hey, you kids! Turn that music down! I'm an adult you know? A strong able-bodied adult!" Tucker let out a scream as the Pirates picked him up and flew him to the ship as Danny and I watch through binoculars as Danny mutters into his mike. "Alright, the fish has swallowed the bait." "But how do we get our offense onto the pirate ship?" Sam asked. 

"We just have to think like a Fenton. Now if I were my Dad where would I put the secret control panel for the ops center? Someplace I would see it every time I come here..." Danny trailed off when a smirk appeared on his face as we rushed to the kitchen refrigerator.
