Maternal Instincts: Part 7

As they checked the rooms they entered they passed rooms with jeeps, ATVs, and even a helicopter as Maddie muttered "Helicopter but no phone, and Danny thinks I'm a nut." Meanwhile, Vlad had phased back into the room and Danny tried to kick him again but Plasmius went intangible and Danny flew across the next few rooms. 

Vlad started to mess with the belts and I flew in front of him ready to punch but he had blasted me away into the mantle just as Danny came back. I fell onto the ground and Danny helped me up as Plasmius told us "Foolish kids! Even with diminished strength, I'm still more powerful than you two, combined." He then tried to duplicate himself but thanks to the Spector Deflectors he could only create two heads.

"Huh? Wha-I can't duplicate my form." "Geez, I don't know which head to hit." Danny said arching an eyebrow as I flew into the air, Danny soon in tow as I told him "So we'll have to hit em both, you take the left, I'll get the right."

"At 112 miles per hour, I bet this hurts!" Danny exclaimed as we punched Plasmius's heads. Soon we start beating Plasmius to a pulp, shooting him with ectoblasts, kicking, punching until eventually he was getting to weak to stand and we walked up to him and let out a small breath with a smirk as he fell to the ground, defeated. "Fine Danny and (s/n) you've defeated me, but have you forgotten my pets?!"

He starts to whistle for his ghost hybrids as they start to surround us and Plasmius gives off his order. "Finish them!" "Finish us? Why are you mad at us? We're not the ones who made your pelts into wall art." I state with a smirk, pointing at all the pelts hanging on the wall. The hybrids turn their attention to Plasmius, growling with anger as he gets up and backs away as he tells them:

"Don't even think about it you spectral freaks! I'm still more powerful than you!" Just as Plasmius finished his statement Danny grabs his device and zaps him with it as he transforms back with a shout as Danny tells him "And now, your not. I'll give ya a five minute head start Plasmius."

"Really?" Vlad asks with hopeful eyes and Danny gives him a look as he says "Minutes, seconds, you know how bad I can be at math. Get him!" Danny points at Vlad as he gives the command and the hybrids start to chase Vlad into the woods. We look at each other with a smile and laugh as I give him a quick wave and fly off, change bac,k and met up with Danny again in his human form, when our parents came into the room. "What happened to Vlad?" They asked and Danny told them "He...ran out for a bite. How are we getting out of here?" Maddie sighs as she tells us the predicament. "We don't know, we can't find a phone, and there wasn't one in the cars or the ATV's or in the helicopter..." She trails off when the realization hits her and she facepalms herself.

"Maybe we could just take the copter?" Danny asks and Maddie gives us a smile as we go to the helicopter and we fly home. "Now kids, we're not gonna mention this to your father and mother, right? They'd be insanly jealous if they found out so mums the word." Maddie told us and Danny states "Actually I think Moms the word. Sorry, I was such a jerk, I really had a good time, backwash?" He offers the backwas to his mom and she swoons about how sweet he is. When we finally got back home, Jack saw through the window and shouted "Quick Jazz, they're back! Remember: Not a word about what went on here."

 "My lips are sealed, and as long as the house is ghost free they'll never know. Oh and Dad? Thanks." Jazz told her dad as she quickly threw out the trash. Jack quickly hopped onto the couch, grabbing the thread, and needle and continued with his needle point as we walked back into the house. "Hey, hey look who's back! How was your weekend?"

Jack asked us as we all told him that it was boring and dull as Danny stated "We gotta call Tucker and Sam...but uh you know." He then gave his mom a kiss on the cheek and I gave a big hug to dad before asking "So, how was your weekend?" "Oh, you know same old." Jack said blankly. 

"Well then I guess everything is back to normal then." Danny said when Jazz raced down the stairs and out the door, riding a ghost beavear shouting just as mom came through the door "GET OUT IF MY HOUSE, YOU FREAK!" Jazz then pokes her head back through the door saying "Hi Danny, hi (y/n)." "Hey wait for me it's my turn!" We heard Jack shout as he handed Danny his cup and races after Jazz as the two started pummling the ghost. We give each other a confused glance before Danny shrugs and sips what's in the cup, soon to spit it out. "Ew, gross backwash!" I start to burst out in laughter as Danny trys to wipe the taste out of his mouth.
