Lucky in Love: Part 2

At school we were walking down the hall as Danny kept looking around in a panic, he had covered half his face with his shirt as he asked "Is anybody looking at me funny?" "Yeah, but that's because you look like your trying to eat your way out of your shirt, lighten up." Tucker told Danny as he put his shirt back down whispering "How can I lighten up?! Paulina knows I'm half-ghost!" 

He then brings his voice back to his normal voice as he says " I mean she says she's gonna keep the secret but how can I trust her? She's a girl, girls can't keep secrets!" He then stops at looks at me and Sam, we were leaning on the lockers, arms crossed and looking at him expectantly.

"Except for you two, you guys are different." "Well, the good news is: Paulina's kinda dim. As long as nothing else weird happens, maybe she'll forget all about it." Sam states when our ghost sense goes off and we watch as Shadow appears from the water fountain. "So that's where the town sewage goes, I knew it," Sam mutters with a smirk as Shadow speeds through the halls. I run off and go ghost and catch up to Danny and Shadow as he tells him "Your making it really hard for me to keep a low profile." Before I could ask him anything, Shadow split into two and smooshed us together as we fell to the ground.

I phase into the science room, Danny behind me as I look around and spot a magnifying glass, grab it and head outside of the school and wait for Shadow to catch up while hiding the magnifying glass. "Looking for us?" I ask once he appears; I point the magnifying glass at him and use my pointer finger to shoot my beam through.

The light grows 2 times bigger and Shadow disappears again so I hand Danny the magnifying glass and head back into the school, once transformed Danny goes into his locker with Sam and Tuck guarding it until he came out. "Good job Danny! Next time though could you introduce me to the ghost girl?" Paulina asked as she walked up, Danny asking her "Where did you come from?" "Mr. Fenton, there you are. You were due to smack the erasers five minutes ago, where were you?" Lancer asked, walking up with the erasers and Danny stuttered to come up with an excuse when Paulina jumped in. 

"He was with me, we're dating now." Everyone in the hall gasps, dropping anything they were holding, one of her fans crying in sadness as she wraps her arm around Danny's. My face dropped as Lancer stated "Well that certainly ups your street cred, Mr. Fenton. Mr. Foley, you're not dating anyone out of your league, you can smack the erasers together."

He tosses the erasers to Tucker as he continued "You two lovebirds enjoy lunch." "You ok?" Tucker asked Sam, I turn my head to look at her, she was glaring at the two and gritting her teeth before she shouted in his face. "Of course I am. Why would I not be ok?! LOOK HOW HAPPY HE IS!" She lets out a growl and punches the locker next to her as she walks off.

I get that she was mad, I am too but still...That poor locker; Danny was having lunch with Paulina as he told her "I'm really happy that your cool with this Paulina but everyone's kinda staring at us." "That's because you're with me now and speaking of that, how would you like to come with me to a bowling party with me on Friday night?" Paulina informed Danny, a shocked face appearing as he asked "You mean like a date?!"

"Not like a date, a date." She said as Dash walked up with a sour face as he stated "Well as much as it pains me to say this Fenton, now that Paulina likes you, your officially a cool kid." "Officially? Like a club?" " Not like a club, a club. He's kinda dim isn't he?" Dash asked Paulina, only to be answered with a smile. "Here's your membership packet...And this is Mikey he'll be doing your homework from now on." Mikey waves as he says hi, only to be thrown out of the way.

"Don't talk to him! You're nowhere near cool enough," Dash turns back to Danny and hands him a hall pass card. "And here's your hall pass card, after the hall monitor stamps it ten times, you get a free frozen yogurt; welcome to the A-List jerk- I mean pal." "Fenton's cool now? I thought we didn't have room for new members."

Kwan asked, causing Dash to sigh as he told Kwan the bad news. "I was told I have to sit here now." Kwan told us as he sat at our table, causing Tucker to shout "You'll never take Danny's place. NEVER!" 

As days passed we continued to watch as Danny spent more time with Paulina as he replaced the photo in his locker of all four of us with a picture of him and her, they ran in fields together, Danny spun Paulina in circles, went on picnic dates where he'd openly transform in front of Paulina to beat up the Box ghost and etc. while we were forced to replace photos of us with Kwan taking Danny's spot, forced to also run in fields and be spun around, which ultimately ended up hurting Tucker and then forced to play football. By the end of the day, we were hiding from Kwan.
