Memory Blank: Part 5

"Hey, Paulina did (y/n) hit her head during cheerleading practice or somethin?" He asked once she had walked up. "No why?" She had started to ask when I shrieked in horror "CHEERLEADING?!" It's not that I absolutely hated cheerleading it was more of the fact that it was mostly filled with Paulina and her bratty friends. "Like why are you shouting?" Paulina asked and I turned to Sam and asked "Do you know what the heck is going on?!" She only shook her head no when Kwan came back with Mikey and Dash stuffed him in his locker. "What do you-" I started when Mikey cut me off shouting "I wish somebody would show you what this feels like!"

"So you have wished it so you know the rest," Desiree said as she appeared turning Mikey into some sort of dragon goblin that began to stuff Dash and Kwan in a locker as Desiree floated up to Danny. "Boo." She said in a sing-song voice and Danny started to freak out shouting " Aaah, aah ghost!" "No memory, no powers, perfect." Desiree mumbled as she flew off as Sam exclaimed " That's Desiree, the wishing ghost! Danny you gotta do something, why aren't you going ghost?!"

Sam had been shaking Danny while I had rounded the corner to go ghost myself but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't, I let a groan out while mumbling to myself "Not this again it's the Fright Knight's worst nightmare universe all over again." "Look, kid, I-I don't know who you are or what you're talking about, all I know is I am out of here!" 

We watched as Danny ran off while Dash and Kwan begged for forgiveness and shouted how they'd never do it again when Mikey returned and quickly slammed the locker door. I rounded the corner to see Sam unlocking Danny's locker and pull down the photo in his locker as she pulled up her photo album as she stated "Oh no! Last night we wished we had never met Danny and Desiree must have made it so we never met, which means he never got his powers." "Then what are we doing here? We gotta convince them we're friends!" I shout as we chase after Danny.

"Why won't you believe us?!" "Believe what? That I had superpowers? You, me, (y/n) and Tuck are best friends even though I've never met you and (y/n)'s only spoken to me to insult me? And you and Tuck are the only ones that know it?"

Danny questioned Sam as I hung back since Sam had asked me too when we reached his house as she shouted "Yes! Isn't that crystal clear?!" The door shut and Sam turned to me saying "We've gotta get him to listen to us! But how do we get through the thick head of a 14-year-old boy?" I give Sam a look and her face drops as I lead her to my place to borrow some clothes. While I was searching my closet Sam happened upon my logo for Danny and she asked "Did you make this?" I turn around while pulling out a pink sweater and nod "Yeah, that was for Danny Phantom, I figured it was about time him and (s/n) got logos, though I'm still working on (s/n)'s." 

Sam puts the logo in her pocket as I helped her get ready when it was time to go. "(y/n) aren't you coming?" "No, I'm done." "What do you mean "I'm done"?" "Exactly that. If Danny wants to act this way and stop being friends he didn't need to do this! I'm not dealing with the way he acts like I'm his friend and then acts like I don't exist, you can pursue him but I'm not gonna put up with this anymore."

Of course, I still wanted to help but if I wanted to get my powers back I would need to step away from this operation and watch so when he does get his powers back I can get mine back too.

Sam leaves for the ice cream parlor where the boys were and ten minutes later I was dragged there by Paulina and Star and we watched the scene unfold. "Hi, mind if I join you?" Sam asked as Danny pushed Tucker out of the way and I heard Paulina say "She surrendered her individuality for a boy! I'm so proud of her!"

After rolling my eyes I continue to watch the scene as Sam pulled out the photo album and the photo from Danny's locker as she tried to explain. " So this is a photo I have of the four of us from July, this is the same one you have in your locker, notice anything?" "Yeah, you broke into my locker and doctored an old photo of me...You must really like me...Or your nuts. Your not nuts are you?" Sam lets out an exasperated sigh as she shoves the photo album in his face telling him to focus.

He looked through photos of all four of us hanging out, photos of him and Sam, him and Tuck, and him and me. Three photos that had caught his eye was one of me and Danny slow dancing at the school dance, one of him, Sam and Tuck in front of the Fenton Portal and one of him next to the Fenton Portal about to put on a suit. "Wait a minute, that's my parent's lab." 

He began to flip through more photos where he saw him as Danny Phantom flying/ fighting with (s/n). He looks at me and then at Sam asking "Who are you two?" "I'm Sam Manson," She then points at me and I give a small smile with a wave before my smile dropped to a frown and I face my 'friends' again. "And that's (y/n) (l/n). A few months ago, I convinced you to go into this, you went in there, there was an accident and you got-"
