Fanning the Flames: Part 1

We were deep in the Ghost Zone, fighting of Climper while Tucker and Sam watched in the Spector Speeder. "Get off him Climper!" I shout trying to pull off Climper, who had Danny pinned to the ground as he told us "But I just want to be your friend!" "Will someone please remind me why this was a good idea?" Danny asked as we continued the struggle. "Hey, you two were the ones who wanted to map out the Ghost Zone." Sam pointed out to us with a smirk as she continued to watch.

"You two are also the ones who don't have to wear these stupid Fenton Phones. Good thing they work as wireless earphones cuz these things are a fashion don't." Tuck complained as he pressed play for his MP3 player we heard this awful song start to play from this hit new singer, Ember.

"They're not supposed to look good, they're supposed to filter out  spectral noise so we can communicate; like when we say things like: Help get this thing off us!" Danny shouted as we struggled to get away from Climper's hug. Sam began to admire the headphones in the rearview mirror as she stated: "They're not stupid, I think they make great techno geek goth earrings, (y/n) would love a pair of these too." "Really? Hey, maybe I should give a pair to Paulina." Danny said causing both me and Sam to sigh as she told him " Yes Danny, that's what I'm saying: give a pair to Paulina instead of (y/n), your other best friend." We finally escaped Climper's grasp and we began to fly away but he gave chase and grabbed my hand as I shout for Danny to help me.

Danny began to glare at Climper as he pulled me away and close to him, a light pink blush forming on both our faces as Danny tells Climper to stay away from me. Glaring right back at us Climper freezes us with his breath but we just use our ecto-blasts to bust out of the ice that had formed around us. I point to a fridge behind Climper and Danny gives me a nod before racing to it and opening the door as Climper flies into the snowy dimension and we slam the door as I blast away the knob so he can't get out. 

We fly into the Specter Speeder and Danny begins to shiver and rub his hands together. "Can a ghost get frostbite?" He asks continuing to warm up his hands so I grab his hands and tell him "Oh here my hands are warm." We give each other a smile as a blush returns but in a deeper shade.

Tucker began to shout out Ember's name and began to sing in a cracked voice causing me to see what looks to be a Sam with a jealous face before pretending to vomit as Danny says "Uh I uh think I'm gonna need my hands for this." We both put our hands over our ears as we head home. At school, we were forced to listen to Ember because Tuck had it playing on the speaker in his PDA.

As we walked down the hall Danny handed me a box and I raised an eyebrow in question. "It's a little gift that Sam recommended I give to you." He told me as I opened up the box to reveal a pair of Fenton Phones. I immediately put them on in happiness and thanked Danny as Sam told me they went well with my look.

Turning back to Tuck who was wearing an Ember T-shirt and beanie  Danny said "I don't get it, this Ember McClain comes out of nowhere and suddenly she's the biggest thing since MP3s. It's so-" "Infuriating how mindless packaged corporate bubblegum is preventing true musical artists from being heard?" 

Sam cut in and I chimed in with "How she's not actually good and it's a wonder why anybody likes her?" "I was gonna say weird but ok..." Danny said causing Tucker to respond with "Ember's not just about music, she's an expression of my unique individuality." We turned the corner to see everyone dressed up in Ember gear with Ember posters everywhere.

"Oh yeah, your one of a kind, each and every one of you." Sam muttered sarcastically as Paulina walked up and judged me and Sam for wearing the Fenton Phones. "Nice earrings, sale at the ninety-nine cents store?" Walking close to Danny and swinging an arm around him as a blush formed on his face for all to see I state "For your information Paulina, Danny gave them to me, and there was an extra pair so Sam got the others."  "Really? He gave you earrings? Hm, I always knew you two losers end up together." She stated as she walked away and I shouted "We're not losers!" Danny then shouted, "We're not together!" I began to frown after hearing that but before anyone could notice Tucker started shouting Ember's name again.

"Will you keep it down?!" Me, Danny, and Sam shouted in Tucker's face angrily when we heard Dash tell Kwan "Hey check it out the lovebirds and the third wheel are ganging up on Foley." This caused us to shout "We're not lovebirds!" and Sam to shout "I'm not a third wheel!"

Author: Hey hopefully I'm back I don't need to help the family as much now but we'll see what school and girl scouts say about leaving me time to write.
