Splitting Images: Part 4

"I know those frogs were here somewhere," Lancer muttered to himself while he was looking for the frogs when suddenly all the beakers shattered. "Great Gaspy!" Lancer shouted as he looked around the room in a panic.

The Fentons and (l/n)s stood at the doorway of Casper High, entry being blocked by Jazz as she argued with them.

"How many times do I have to tell you? There's nothing weird going on in this school!" 

As if the universe wanted to prove her wrong, Jazz is shoved away from the doors as students come running out in a panic, covered in food as the lunchroom had suddenly begun attacking them.

 "Move everyone, move!" Jack shouted as they raced into the school.

Danny and I quickly turned intangible to avoid being hit by the flying school contents from the lockers before trying to explain the situation.

 "Look you don't understand," I said trying to reason with Sidney. 

"I understand a bully when I see one!" He refused to listen as he shot at us with laser eyes, causing us to crash into the library.

Quickly getting up and flying back to Sidney we notice Sam trying to collect the frogs.

"There you go, little fellas." 

"Put an egg in your shoe and beat it bullies! I'm Sidney Pointdexter, and wherever there's a single nerd in need I shall be there," Sidney proclaims, gesturing towards Tucker, who had walked up while he was making his 'I'm a hero' speech. 

"Hey! Who are you calling a nerd?" 

With a glare, Danny raced down and tried to grab Sidney who had gone intangible, so Danny ended up body-slamming Tucker. 

Studying Sidney Tucker said, "That's the guy who used to have your locker! In your face Mr. Skeptic!" Tuck began gloating, giving Sidney an idea.

 "In his face? Swell idea." 

He pulled a pen out of his pocket and sprayed ink on Danny's face while laughing. Taking advantage of the fact that Sidney had forgotten about me, I sneak up behind him, tap his shoulder, and uppercut him into the ceiling when he turns around.

"Hey, I'm up for people tasting their own medicine and all but you are not allowed to bully my peers, especially my friends!"

As Sidney fell, Danny tackled him, dragging him down into the boiler room. Flying down I saw Sidney was about to attack Danny so I stood between the two boys as he told me, "Stay out of my way, he needs to be taught a lesson!" 

"So do you," I say coldly to him and we begin to fight. 

He used his laser eyes again and I was shot away and landed on the floor behind a boiler, turning human in the process.

Danny also gets shot by Pointdexter's laser eyes, knocking him to the ground and reverting back to his human form.

"Holy socks! You're one of the Halfas, that must mean the other ghost is the other Halfa!" (Roll credits) Pointdexter says, staring at Danny in shock. 

 "The whata?" Dany asked confused while Pointdexter explained. 

"The Halfas, everybody in the Ghost Zone talks about you two. You guys are half a boy and girl, half a ghost! The Halfas, you two have all our powers on the human plane, and— You were using your powers for evil?!" 

Danny shakes his head, slowly approaching Pointdexter to try and explain.

"No! Look, just listen I...I took over Dash's body because—" 

Pointdexter interrupted Danny as he asked, "Hey wait, you can take over a person's body? Jeepers Creepers, I would flip if I had your powers! I wonder?"

Finally able to shake off the dizzy spell I had gotten, I stand up and round the corner of the boiler to Sidney trying to overshadow Danny. Panic sets in as I watch Danny struggle to kick him out of his body.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Danny asked freaked out. 

"Giving you a taste of your own medicine bully!" 

"Danny! Hang on I'm coming!" I shouted running over to Danny, making a face as I watched his body start moving distortedly while Danny still tried to explain.

"Listen to me! Dash isn't—" 

I could tell he was losing the battle so I did what I thought I'd never have to do: I went into Danny's body and managed to kick Sidney out of Danny. 

While Danny was trying to recover I stood between them as I told Sidney "No way on Earth am I gonna let you take over Danny, Pointdexter!"

  Sidney began humming in thought before he said, "If I can't possess him then I'll just have to possess YOU!" Sidney lunged for me and began to take over my body, turning to Danny I shouted for him to help me while he slowly stood up, watching in horror. 

Suddenly my body quit moving and I began to float away while Sidney stated, "You might use your powers to pick on innocent kids, but I sure as sugar WON'T." 

My spirit began being tugged toward the mirror in Danny's locker while I shouted for Danny's help. "Nooooooo! Danny help me!"

 When the locker opened again, everything was in black and white and somebody said to me "Hey Pointdexter."

I looked in the mirror to see my reflection was Sidney's and I began to freak out.

"(y/n) no!" Danny shouts, trying to grab hold of (y/n), his hand phasing through hers no matter how many attempts he made before she was gone, and he glared at Pointdexter. "You're gonna regret harming (y/n)." 

"Now what should I do with you? I know! You should be able to go into my realm," Pointdexter mutters after checking out his new 'vessel'.

Quickly Pointdexter grabbed Danny, flew to his locker, pushed him through the portal, and closed the locker, trapping Danny and (y/n) in the past.
