My Brother's Keeper: Part 4

"Don't you think they've been acting weird? I mean haven't you noticed how gloomy and negative they've been lately?" Jazz asked Sam and Tucker. "Uh, Jazz? We're Danny's and (y/n)'s friends which means we keep their secrets from you." Tucker said causing Jazz to hand him a twenty-dollar bill. "All through-" Tuck started when Sam handed the money back stating "We've all got our problems Jazz. I know your worried but Danny and (y/n) are ok; they keep somethings to themselves but it's not like they're doing anything criminal."

While the three were talking Danny was getting a drink of water and Bertrand pulled his bag strap on the fire alarm so when Danny began to walk away the fire alarm was pulled and as I went to unleash the strap Jazz, Tucker and Sam saw us as the sprinklers turned on.

Outside the school, the firefighters plus their Dalmatians were glaring at us while we tried to explain to Lancer. "A month's detention! But we didn't do anything!" We said in unison when Dr. Spectra appeared and stated "Hey Mr. Lancer it was an accident, but we're gonna take that accident and make it an acci-don't and we're gonna learn from it so it'll never happen again." "But-" Danny started when Mr. Lancer cut him off.

 "No buts, you two could learn a little bit about school spirit from Miss. Spectra here. When I was here I got that same advice and look how I turned out!" Later we were in Dr. Spectra's office and she had made us dress up.

Danny was wearing a diaper, just his socks on his feet, a spirit sash on his shirt, and a big top hat while I was dressed the same. "And this is supposed to help us how?" Danny asked annoyed as Dr. Spectra stated "We're gonna help you overcome your fear of being called a baby." "I'm not afraid of being called a baby! I'm afraid of being called a loser." Danny said glumly while sitting down. "And I don't care about what other people think of me if they're not my friends." I said crossing my arms "Ah and therein lies the problem. Danny, you care too much about what other people think, and (y/n) you don't care enough about what other people think." Suddenly Dash and his friends walked in holding boxes as Dash asked where Spectra wanted them when he saw us.

"Hey, guys check it out! It's the Casper High Spirit babies!" They all started laughing and Danny began to sigh as he said "Of course." I growled, gritting my teeth and digging my nails into my skin as Spectra touched our shoulders and her youth was replenished. We were at the mall and everyone was talking about their problems that Dr. Spectra had pointed out about them.

We were eating ice cream when Tucker told us "Man it was brutal making you two wear those stupid baby suit; I could hardly watch, though I did get some good digital pics." Tuck showed us his PDA which was filled with photos in that suit and people laughing, causing Danny to shout.

"Hey! Who's side are you on anyway?!" Danny asked annoyed as Sam chimed in. "Danny come on, you know he's kidding." "Yeah I know, I don't get it! Why am I so depressed and angry all the time? That Shrink was supposed to be helping us. Ever since we started talking to her we've been feeling worse." I nodded my head agreement stating "I know what you mean. I've been lashing out at everybody except you guys and I feel terrible for it." "Hey Danny, how's it going?"

We heard Jazz ask as she walked up. "Like you care, just go away Jazz," Danny said resting his head on his fist when our ghost sense went off. "Oh no." We mutter at the same time as we turn around to see Paulina putting on more blush as she gets angry with one of the employees. "If my skin's perfect I'll be perfect. Do you mind?! You're like the second old woman to hover over me today and I'm so not in the mood."

 Suddenly Bertrand appeared growling at Paulina who screamed once she noticed him. "Gotta keep Jazz busy." Danny muttered to himself before shouting "Oh yeah? Well if your gonna take her side, then you can hang with her too! Here take my seat, you've already taken my friends!" He ran away and headed to the back door as I caught on to what he was doing.

I quickly rush out as well heading the same way as Danny but not before I gave the quick quip at Jazz "Great! All our hard work of trying to convince him we aren't on your side and you ruin it!" She responds by chasing after us shouting "Danny! (y/n)! Wait!" "C'mon!" Sam shouts as she and Tucker chase after Jazz.
