Teacher of the Year: Part 1

He quickened his pace as he ran down the halls, the door opened when he got close enough; he began to run to the silver key and just as he was about to grab it, two figures appeared at the doorway and shot him, he had lost the game. "That's the trouble with these online video games: too many unqualified random players," Tuck stated looking at the remaining gun left behind by the player. "I know what you mean...Nobody but us has a clue. Except for Chaos and Mayhem, those two are unstoppable." 

Danny said staring at the two; they were covered in armor from head to toe, masks to cover their faces, and had all sorts of gadgets that the two had collected. "Was unstoppable, watch this!" Tucker came out of his hiding spot and pointed one of the laser guns at the two shouting at them.

"Hey, Chaos! Mayhem! Game over fidwids!" He shot at the two, who easily dodged and Chaos shot back, causing Danny and Tucker to run as Danny told Tuck "Still not stopped." They ran into a broken-down building as Mayhem grabbed one of their grenades and threw it in their direction. "Danny, I just want you to know, I accidentally killed your pet gerbil in the sixth grade." "WHAT?!" He shouted just as the bomb went off the words GAME OVER flashed over the two boy's screen with Chaos and Mayhem laughing in the background.

 "Aw man, smoked again," Tucker muttered. "Darn it! I thought using the Fenton helmet as my game controller would give me an edge, not hat hair." Danny muttered to himself and he threw the helmet and it hit the open button on the portal, freeing Technus.

"Ha, ha! Once again I Technus, master of all things electronic and beeping am free once again to conquer this world! Although...that world looks more entertaining and the fashion sense is far superior. Perhaps it is there, that I shall be king!" Technus said as he flew next to Danny and watched Chaos and Mayhem fight. Pushing Technus away, Danny transformed and went to punch him but he flew into one of Technus's traps and was wrapped around in a techno looking cloak that acted like a bug zapper for ghosts. 

During the interaction the computer got busted and Technus made his escape. "Oh great, constantly getting zapped in Doomed is bad enough, but now I have to track down that loser? I'll have to deal with it tomorrow-" Danny cut himself off as he turned his head and looked at the clock which read 5:30 Am.

"I-It is tomorrow! I've been up all night! Oh well, one sleepy day at school (every Monday) and one lame ghost afraid, what's the worst that could happen?" Danny said with a yawn, the outcome of that decision was at school he slept through the poetry test. Later that night we were hunting Technus down and used the Fenton Phones for communication, though all the boys were talking about was their game plan.

Deciding to stop the two I speak up. "Last time Technus fused a monster out of the junk from the Fenton's shed, so be on the lookout for runaway appliances." Sadly it didn't stop them from planning for their game. "Copy, the objective is to defeat the boss and power him down to level zero." Tucker stated and Danny then chimed in with " Level zero is a no man's land, Sam, (s/n). It's a glitch in the Doomed program; if you get knocked into it your stuck there." "I cannot begin to tell you how interesting that is." I say in a sarcastic tone as Tucker told us "If you two were game savvy, you'd know that."

This caught Sam's attention and she began to rip Tucker a new one when something caught her eye. "Oh really? Let me tell you something-hold it, I've got something! Fast-moving garage sale, heading east towards the park." She informed us and we quickly went to the park to see Technus building a suit that had a high resemblance to Chaos and Mayhem if the two were fused together.

"Look familiar? Technus saw me playing Doomed last night, now he's trying to look like Chaos and Mayhem." Danny informed us causing Tucker to say "With the way you play Doomed, he shouldn't be hard to beat." "Ignoring that, ok Tuck here's what we'll do: You distract him with an L-two throttle right maneuver and I'll power up and engage him in battle mode." "What about us?" 

Sam asked and both of them gave us a look as he said "You two stay here, you probably don't know the moves we're talking about here." "Yeah, you'd just get in the way." Tuck chimed in as they raced away to go on with their plan as I shouted back to them "How would we get in the way?! We can help! For crying out loud I have ghost powers too!" I didn't get a response, so I sigh in annoyance as we watched what they did.

"Time to show him what five bolts of manly battery power can really do," Tuck muttered to himself as he began to distract Technus and he began to shout for Danny. Danny flew up and punched Technus onto his back and then went for another strike but was slapped away. "So much for battle mode huh?"

 Sam remarked as Danny fell out of the tree where we were. "Okay, this calls for an advanced mode with an intangibility bonus." Danny flew to Tuck, making them intangible as they avoided the blasts but when they thought they were safe, Danny stopped his intangibility, and Tucker's wheel was popped.
