Lucky in Love: Part 4

Shadow races towards us when a bright light appears, blinding us as Shadow screams in agony as he disappeared when we finally looked, we saw Tucker had shone the light as he called to us. "Do your thing dudes, I got your back." Star's shouting could be heard and we watch as Tuck sighs before going back inside. Kitten races off only to be grabbed by Johnny. "Alright baby, let's take this elsewhere huh?" Johnny speeds up as we chase after him and Danny grabs Kitten as we land in the park.

"Oh Danny, I knew you'd come back for me." She says as she leans in and starts kissing him on the cheek just as Johnny drives up and presses a button on his bike that created a portal to the Ghost Zone shouting "Alright, that's it! You want her runt? You can keep her, I'm gone." He drives through the portal leaving us three behind.

"He can ride in and out of the Ghost Zone now?" Danny asks as Kitty explains "He stole some do-da from your dad's lab last time he was here and then wired it to his bike, but is that really what you want to talk about right now?" She seductively grabs on to Danny and I quickly intervene; crossing my arms with a scowl, I start tapping my foot as I say "No, we should probably talk about something a little more important." Danny nods in agreement as he grabs her and we fly back to the lab where Kitty started to explain. "Look, Danny, I didn't want to cause you any trouble."

She starts and Danny tells her "Your about 8 shadow attacks too late, what's the story?" He asks as we both cross our arms and she sighs. "It's like this: Ever since Johnny modified his bike to come here, I've been nagging at him to take me back. The city sites were so exciting and unfortunately, Johnny was taking in the sites too, and by sites, I mean every single girl in town. I remember how much Johnny couldn't stand you so you were the perfect person to make him jealous, I was gonna overshadow your friend, you know the cool one in the really cute (f/c) swimsuit. You like her don't you?" 

She suddenly asks, pointing at Danny while I gave a quick shudder after realizing I could have been overshadowed when I heard her question and turned my attention to Danny's reaction. "(y/n)? I...Well...Uh..." He trails of Kitty giving a smug smirk while arching an eyebrow.

She continued explaining that she had overshot and flew into the bathroom instead of overshadowing me and saw Paulina and decided to take over her instead. "I ended up in this body, go fig. But the good news is you like her too, Johnny's furious, I'm pretty, your popular, everybody wins." "Except Paulina, you realize your gonna have to stop this right?" Danny points out an idea coming to Kitten.

"Maybe...Or maybe Paulina might slip up and tell the whole town that the ghost boy and girl are actually-" Danny cut her off by covering her mouth stating "Uh that's Inviso-Bill and Intan-Jill." "See you at lunch tomorrow, boyfriend." 

She began to walk off as Danny and I gave each other a quick glance, unsure what to do. It was lunch the next day and Sam and I were still stuck with Kwan. "Sam? (y/n)? Are you sure you guys aren't miffed about the poetry thing last night? Because you seemed pretty miffed." Sam grabs the napkin dispenser and crushes it as she says "Why would I be miffed? Just because I can't sit at my regular table..."

Sam looks over to where Danny was and he gives us a small smile as she continues. "And I can't go to my regular book store anymore..." She trails off as Kwan asks "So we're cool then?" I sigh in annoyance when I spot Tucker in line and grab Sam, leaving Kwan alone with Star. "Tucker! Hey!" I shout getting his attention as he says hi. "Oh, hey girls. So how you two getting along with Kwan?" "Oh great, how are things with Star." Sam answers and he gives the same response, about a second later all three of us start complaining about how Star/Kwan was driving us insane. "You've gotta help me." We said at the same time and then start bursting out in laughter.

"Seriously girls, Star and Kwan are stuck to us like gum on the bottom of a desk, we have to lose them." "I don't see how, I have a feeling we're tied to these two losers until-" Sam was cut off when Kwan and Star walk up...holding hands. "Star and I were just talking and we decided we may be less cool then Danny and Paulina but we're way more cooler than you three." "Tucker, I hope we can still be friends."
