Reign Storm: Part 9

"Malevolent spirits have pulled our entire town into a dimension known to us humans as the Ghost Zone!" "I'm launching the Ghost Zone probe now." Damien's voice could be heard as he pressed a button that launched the probe into the Ghost Zone as he continued his work on the other side of the lab. "I'm also increasing the ghost shield's radius to protect the city." He pulled the lever as the ghost shield started to grow, pushing back any ghosts while the citizens ran inside. "The fact that we are currently in an alternate form of reality would be a lot cooler if it weren't for the fact that we were all in mortal danger," Dad explained to the public as Damien said:

"The shield's cranked to capacity and our probe of the Ghost Zone is operational." Getting the confirmation that it was safe to leave Valerie went to go change so she could start searching for us since she found the closet empty and I wasn't upstairs anymore. "For your own safety, please run underneath the Fenton anti-ghost shield."

 Mom instructed when Maddie butt in with "Where our daughter Jazz will be serving tea and cookies...And boys she's single!" She dragged her daughter onto the screen as she was soon pushed away with a "Mom!" "But more than anything know this: This is not my fault! I repeat: THIS IS NOT MY FAULT!"

Jack shouted Pariah, shooting the screen next to him, having enough of hearing the man. "They're ghosts AND humans! Is there no end to this day's surprises?" Pariah asks forming an ectoblast when Valerie shouted "Hey stone face, surprise!"  Pink ecto goo was shot into the king's eyes as he dropped us to wipe away the goo and blasted at Valerie who dropped her gun and rammed into a post.

 A rocket forms from her wrist but it malfunctions and burns her skin as she throws the glove off to reveal the ring. "The ring! Give that to the king now!" The Fright Knight demands and Valerie gives the ring a quick glance before placing it on a rocket and shooting it off deep into the Ghost Zone saying "You want it? Then go get it!" Pariah was quick to chase after the ring while Valerie made a break for us as she grabbed her hoverboard and swooped us flying to the ghost shield as quickly as possible with the Fright Knight on her tail. Shots were blasted and Valerie did her best to avoid them but one of her rockets was still hit as she crashed inside the ghost shield as the Fright Knight crashed into it. 

Valerie gets up to be startled from the Fright Knight trying to cut the shield. "This. Is. Not. Over!" He shouted as Valerie walked away while dragging us, Pariah's shadow soon looming over the Fright Knight.

"Actually my loyal servant, it is!" He booms out as he slips on the ring as he walked away leaving red flaming steps wherever he walked as he said "Come. We have plans to make for soon this human world will also be mine!" Valerie flew into the room throwing Vlad in a chair and Danny and me on his bed as she walked to the corner and fainted.

"Maybe I'll just rest for a second." Vlad was the first to wake up and the first thing he noticed was that the ring wasn't on Valerie. "The ring! It's gone!" Hearing footsteps coming closer Vlad makes himself invisible as our parents came into the room. "Ah, you see? I told you they were up here. What do the kids call it? Hanging out!"

The door was shut and Danny started to stir the first thing he noticed was me on top of him and Valerie in the corner. "I'm getting worried we haven't seen Danny, (y/n) or Valerie in hours." Sam told Tuck when Jack came down saying "Ah, they're fine. They've been up in Danny's room...Alone...For hours." Sam dropped the teacup she was holding as the two raced upstairs. "Danny! (y/n)! You're ok! Woah, happened to her?" Sam cries out before asking her question when her gaze fell on Valerie.

 "You name it, Fright Knight, ghost king, Vlad! All of my enemies. Everything I thought Danny Phantom and (s/n) could handle but couldn't." Danny said as we looked her over. "Dude, you can't blame yourself for this. It's not your fault." Tuck said trying to comfort Danny. Maybe not, but it is our responsibility.

I walk out and go to the bathroom again to go ghost while Danny goes ghost, grabs Sam and Tuck and we all fly to the basement while going invisible and watching the scene before us. "And while the ecto skeletons can enhance your natural abilities 100 fold; using it could be fatal." Maddie explained as mom and Jack got up mom saying "Which is exactly why we'll be using it because if the suits are killing anybody it's gonna be us." Our parents were thwacked in the head by my dad and Maddie as she said "Both of you are already weak from the first time you used the suits, we'll be going in." 

Jazz then proceeded to thwack our parents saying "Forget it you two, Danny and (y/n) need both of you I'm doing this." Everyone then started to thwack each other volunteering to wear the suits. We make ourselves visible as I say crossing my arms while continuing to watch the scene "I thought we were gonna have to blast everybody with a ghost ray but this is much more efficient."
