Louis POV

It had been about 30 minutes before Liam came back to the waiting room, changed into his doctor's clothes. He had a clipboard in his hand and a coffee in the other.

"Is he alright?" I asked, standing up from my chair.

"Yes, he should be fine. We had to knock him out as he was being a little difficult, but we were able to start an IV with some fluids and antibiotics, as this appears to be a viral infection. We are also cooling him with some cooling blankets and washcloths. His fever is down to about 103.1, which is better, but still not great. I want to keep him here for a couple days to be sure his fever doesn't return to that high state. He'll be asleep for a while, but you can see him."

"But he'll be fine?" I asked, still concerned.

"Yes he'll be fine." But before he could finish, I pulled Liam in for a hug.

"Thank you. Can you take me to him?"

"Of course. Come on." He made a gesture with his clipboard, as if showing us to follow him. Liam led us down a hallway and stopped at room 49, which was a private suite. "Like i said, he'll be out for a while, but you can stay and hold his hand and everything. I have some paperwork to do, so I'll be back in a little while. Press the nurse button if you need anything." I nodded and walked in, a nurse already in here.

"Hi there, you must be Louis?" She questioned while taking Harry's vitals.

"Yes that's me." I said, sitting by Harry's bed.

"He was very concerned for you." That made me smile. "He must really care about you." She said finishing up.

"Yea." I scratched the back of my neck in embarrassment. "We care about each other."

"That's a good thing. If you need anything just press the button and I'll be in, okay?"

"Okay thanks." I forgot Niall was even in the room when he put a hand on my shoulder.

"You alright Tommo?" He asked, sitting down on the arm rest.

"Yeah. I was just scared for him."

"I know. So was I. It's concerning when your husband doesn't know who you are when you are standing right there." He said patting my back. "He'll be fine though."

"I know." We waited for a while until Harry woke up. Liam was in and out, making sure that I was alright and that Harry was doing okay too. Eventually Niall left, leaving just me with Harry, as i wasn't leaving him until he left as well. I ended up falling asleep in the reclining chair in the corner of the room.

Harry POV

When I opened my eyes, I was in a bed, but it wasn't my own. There were bright white walls surrounding me and the room was slightly dark. I couldn't remember how I got here and what happened before I slept for some reason. I had a slight tickle in the back of my throat making me cough. Was I dreaming? I thought. II was hooked up to what I assumed was an IV and I was by myself. And I hadn't yet noticed the sleeping figure in the corner of the room.

I took the IV out because I didn't need it, or so I thought. I went to stand but got really dizzy and stumbled to the floor. I must have had a monitor on or something because I felt something pull on my skin and rip off, causing the screen next to my bed to go off. I tried to stand, but a nurse came in, calling someone outside and coming to my side.

"Harry what are you doing darling?" She grabbed something off the side table and went to put it on my arm, but I flinched away from her. "Harry you're bleeding. Let me help-" I cut her off.

"How do you know my name?" I looked at her with a confused look. Then someone else came into the room.

"Harry!" I looked up and it was Liam, who was clearly the one taking care of me. "Come on, let's get up."

"No! Tell me what happened first! Where's Lou and how the hell did I get here? Why am I just in a hospital with no recollection of how I got here?" I was frustrated and confused.

"Louis!" He yelled to someone, then saw the chair in the corner move and someone came running towards me.

"Haz? Oh my gosh, thank god you're alright" He hugged me and I was thankful for his touch, but I was still confused. I started to cry from the overwhelming feeling of emotions.

"Help me get him back in bed, okay?" I didn't have the energy or strength to protest, so I let them lift me back into the bed.

"Haz what's wrong?" I just shook my head and put my head in my hands. "Can you guys give us the room please? Just for a few minutes?"

"Let me put his IV in first so that his fluids and antibiotics can get going then we can give you guys some space, okay?" Liam said, prepping a new IV with the help from the nurse.

"Haz just let them help you okay?" He lifted my chin, making me connect eyes with him. He wiped the tears from the cheeks with the pad of his thumb. The nurse took my hand and put the new IV in, reconnecting me to whatever medications they had me on.

"Do you think you need the oxygen back on, Harry?" I shook my head no and Liam nodded, placing the tubing back on the wall. "Okay we will be outside. Press the button if you need something." Liam and the nurse left, leaving just me and Louis.

"Louis please, what happened? I just-" He cut me off, pulling me into a hug.

"Hey it's okay, let me explain." He sat down on the bed, holding my hand. "You know how you were feeling sick and everything?" I nodded. "When you woke up this morning you were hallucinating because your fever was over 105. You didn't know who I was, well you thought I was someone else, and you were seeing things. It was scary, so I called Liam and we brought you to the hospital and it turns out you have a viral infection, so you're on antibiotics and fluids and they are keeping you for the next 2 days to be sure your fever doesn't go back up that high again." He was tearing up now and I felt so bad because I don't remember anything.

"Lou please don't cry. I'm sorry I scared you, I just don't remember anything."

"It's not your fault. It's just I've never seen you that sick and I was just scared." He rubbed his eyes as some tears were starting to fall, so I pulled his arm, indicating I wanted him closer. He got the message and snuggled up close to me. We fell asleep like that.

The next 2 days went by kind of slow. Harry's fever went back up slightly, but not as high as before, which was good as it showed some sort of improvement. After another day in the hospital, Harry was able to go home. He was still considered sick, as he had a very slight fever, but Liaim said it should go away in a few days.

After about a week's worth of antibiotics and sleeping, Harry was feeling a lot better, especially with the help of Louis, who was very caring and helped Harry feel better.

A/N: I really like this one. Let me know if you want one like this, but with Louis instead because I really enjoyed writing this one. Have a good day!
