10 years later:
I sat on my blue bench engulfed in Draco's arms as I watched Scorpius follow a trail of ants.
My eyes fell on the engraving in the bench which was dedicated to sam my first child who I'll never forget.
"When will James get here?" Lyra asked.
"They should be here soon honey why don't you check on your little brother?" Draco responded.
Lyra molly malfoy was turning 10 this year which meant she'd be going off to hogwarts next year and have a much more normal experience than I did. Fingers crossed.
She skipped after Scorpius. Scorpius Jeremiah malfoy.
"These catch ups are always fun, aren't they?" he said sarcastically then kissed my cheek.
" you two are going to have to learn to get along eventually?"
He rested his hand on my baby bump. Baby number 3.
"He doesn't like me"
" if the kids can get along you two can"
" we need to learn to let go of the past"
I ran my fingers over the flower tattoo on his fore arm he got to cover up his dark mark it had Lyra and scorpius' name etched on a petal each.
"Lyra we're here" James shouted as he ran towards her.
"I'm going to go see Ginny , good luck" I smiled at him as I stood up. He gripped my hand.
"Please don't leave me alone with him again"
"I believe in you why don't you go start the barbecue" i smiled at him then went off to find Ginny
" hey gin" I gave her an awkward side hug avoiding her baby bump.
" hey Harry's just waking up Albus"
Suddenly I heard two padding feet run past me.
" Albus!" Harry called after him trying to chase him down but he made it to the garden in just his nappy.
" hey y/n, how've you been?"
"I'm alright- is there any update on my mum?"
" no we haven't managed to track her down yet, but your father is still doing good helping us gather the other death eaters left"
"That's good"
"Can't wait to have you back out there with us"
" can't wait to be back -Draco's just out back by the way"
" great" he said sarcastically as he slowly walked out.
" he begged me to stay with him" Ginny stifled a laugh
"Draco said the same thing I told him they'll just have to get along"
"When will they learn" Ginny laughed.
We waddled to the bench.
"Who'd of thought we'd end up like this?" Ginny chuckled.
"Definitely not me"
"Where's everyone else ?"
"Late as always" I laughed
