I sit on my bed reading a text from Kiara, my head on my pillow and my feet in Rafe's lap as he messages my leg in boredom.

"Who are you texting?" Rafe asks me, laying down next to me and trying to look at my phone screen to read the messages but I turn it off, pushing his face away.

"Your dad. We made plans for later" I answer and the boy looks at me in disgust, causing me to laugh at him.

"That was too far" He practically gags.

"I'm just kidding. I was texting Kie" I tell him, kissing his lips softly.

"You're mean" He pouts.

"You love it" I retort.

"Maybe" He shrugs and I grin widely.

"I gotta run over to the chateau" I tell the Cameron boy, pulling myself out of bed.

"How long will you be?" Rafe frowns.

"half an hour maximum" I shrug, pulling on my shoes.

"Can I come with you?" He asks curiously.

"If you wait outside" I tell him.

"Deal" He grins, hopping up and pulling on his shoes.

We exit my house and start our short walk to the chateau.

"Can we talk about the fact you burst into Barry's house and claimed I was yours? I feel like that's a conversation we should have" I speak up.
