259.We Can Never Become Like Him

After Yeji boarded the car, she was still in daze.

Placing his hand on her shoulder, Hyunjin asked, "Yeji are you okay?"

Wrapping her hands around his waist, Yeji placed her head on his chest and said, "I think you were right about Daisy."

"Hmm?" Hyunjin asked.

"S-She lied to me about her sister-in-law." Yeji said.

Hyunjin frowned and asked, "What do you mean?"

Yeji told him everything about Daisy's sister-in-law. How Daisy had described her and how she actually was.

"Stay away from Daisy." Hyunjin said.

Snuggling her face against his chest, Yeji nodded her head.

Hyunjin sighed, "Listen to me baby. I know Daisy is your best friend and you care about her a lot but do you really think she feels the same for you? Do you think she cares about you?" Pausing for a while, he continued, "It's not necessary that a person has to feel the same way like you do. If she really considered you as her best friend, she would've never lied to you. Neither about receiving the video call nor about her sister-in-law. She lied about her sister-in-law because she wanted your sympathy. Do you understand?"

Yeji nodded her head.

Kissing her forehead, Hyunjin said, "You are very naive Yeji. You can't blindly trust anyone like that. When I met Daisy for the first time or rather saw her in that video call, I started getting weird vibes from her. I had this strong feeling that she isn't good and kindhearted like you. I even asked you to maintain some distance with her but-"

"I'll listen to you from now." Yeji said.

Rubbing her back, Hyunjin smiled and said, "Good. Now let's go I'll take you to my office today. I have one important meeting at 11 and after that I am free. We can go out and have fun."

Giving him a weak smile, Yeji nodded her head trying her best to hide the complicated emotions brewing up inside her heart.

When Jungkook and Lisa came outside, the other two couples were waiting for them.

Passing a beer bottle to Jisoo, Rosé said, "Girl I am feeling so jealous of her. I mean just look at Lisa she is glowing. Is this some pregnancy glow or something like that?"

Jisoo  smiled and said, "Yes. Now I am 90% sure about her pregnancy."

Pointing towards Jimin and Jin, Rosé slapped her forehead and said, "Now look at them. They are staring at Lisa right under our nose."

Jisoo laughed and said, "Forget about them even I cant take my eyes off her."

Placing Lisa down carefully, Jungkook said, "See the wind is so strong."

"Will you please stop nagging me and have some fun." Lisa said.

"Wow Lisa you look hot." Jimin said.

Jin nodded his head and said, "That's true you look stunning."

Lisa smiled and said, "Thank you guys."

"Keep your dirty eyes off my wife." Jungkook said.

Jin and Jimin cheekily smiled and said, "We can't help it. She is looking very sexy."

"You-"

"Stop it Jungkook and you guys stop irritating my husband." Lisa said.

Shrugging his shoulder, Jin said, "It's not our fault that it's so easy to irritate him."

"Girl you stole our limelight." Rosé said.

Lisa chuckled and said, "Shut up. So what do we do now?"

"Let's explore the island." Jungkook said.

"Sounds great." Jisoo said.

"And then we can swim for sometime may be." Jimin said.

"Great. Let's go." Lisa said before grabbing Jisoo and Rosé's hand.

Leaning towards Lisa, Jisoo murmured, "Don't walk fast or jump around too much."

Lisa nodded her head and said, "Okay."

As the girls started walking ahead, their partners couldn't help but sigh.

"I think we have to walk together." Jimin said.

"Lisa wants to go back fast." Jungkook said.

Jin raised his eyebrows and asked, "Why?"

"I don't know. Do you think it is because she is unwell? Or may be she is having some problem?" Jungkook asked.

"Bring her to the hospital few days after we return." Jin said.

Jungkook took a deep breath and nodded his head.

"How are things in country S?" Jimin asked.

"Uncle Oh had called me. He told me that Sehun handed over his resignation without any objection." Jungkook said.

Jimin raised his brows and said, "Now that's weird."

"Did you ask someone to keep an eye on him?" Jin asked.

Jungkook nodded his head and said, "Yes I did. I am having this bad feeling that he is up to no good."

"I thought that removing him from his position won't be that easy." Jimin said.

"Is Bambam keeping an eye on Simon?" Jin asked.

"Yes. I just received his message saying that Simon's movements are normal." Jungkook said.

Jin sighed and said, "I think we should seriously go back early. With all the mess in country S, I feel our presence is important."

"Let's cut it short to three days. After everything is solved we can take them somewhere else for a long vacation." Jimin said.

Jungkook nodded his head and said, "I'll ask Eunwoo to make necessary arrangements."

"Jungkook come here look what I found." Lisa shouted from a far distance.

"Coming." Jungkook shouted before rushing towards her.

"Do you think we will become like him after we get married?" Jin asked Jimin.

Jimin smiled and said,v"We can never become like him. You have no idea how much this guy loves his wife Jin."

"Jungkook liked someone back in college right? I mean I heard that he was head over heals for her but then he suddenly married Lisa. Why?" Jin asked.

Jimin chuckled and said, "Dude don't tell me you don't know?"

"Know What?" Jin asked.

"The girl from college is Lisa. Jungkook was madly and deeply in love with no one else but Lisa when we were in college." Jimin said.

Jin widened his eyes in shock and asked, "How? I mean wait. So you mean that Jungkook never loved anyone else other than Lisa?"

Jimin nodded his head.

"But didn't they have a flash marriage? As far as I know they never dated before marriage right?" Jin asked.

Jimin chuckled and said, "I'll tell you their story when I have time."

Wrapping his hands around Jin's shoulder, Jimin said, "Now let's go our girlfriends are waiting for us."
