273.Gender Discrimination Is Illegal

Kim Mansion.

By the time Jungkook arrived at the mansion, it was already past ten thirty.

"Lisa is inside her bedroom." Father Kim said who was sitting in the living reading some documents.

"Father I-"

Father Kim smiled and said, "You don't have to explain anything to me Jungkook. I understand your feelings very well and I am happy that you care about my daughter so much. Why don't you go inside and talk to Lisa?"

Jungkook nodded his head and left.

Lisa's room.

When Jungkook entered the room, Lisa was standing in front of the window crossing both her hands in front of her.

Picking up the quilt from the bed, Jungkook wrapped it around her and said, "You should wear thick clothes and why aren't you sleeping?"

"I wasn't feeling sleepy." Lisa said.

"Can't fall asleep without me?" Jungkook asked.

Lisa slowly nodded her head.

Wrapping his arms around her, Jungkook placed his head in her shoulder and said, "Lisa do you know selfish you are? You are just thinking about yourself and our baby but who will think about me? It was so easy for you to say that you don't care if anything happens to you but what do you think will happen to me if something happens to you? Do you think that I'll be able to survive without you?"

Pausing for a while, Jungkook said, "I know I was wrong for taking such a big decision all by myself but that was the only thing I could think of at that very moment. Honestly speaking Lisa losing the baby is not a big deal for me. We can always have one in the future. Even if we don't there are several other options which we can opt for but if I lose you, I'll lose myself. You are my life, my strength, my weakness, my everything. I cannot even imagine my life without you."

Turning around, Lisa buried her head in his chest and started crying.

Wrapping his arms around her, Jungkook said, "I know you want to have this baby. I too want it but not at the stake of losing you. I am ready to spend the rest of my life without having a child of my own but not without you."

"I am sorry and did not mean to hurt you. I-" Lisa said.

Jungkook chuckled and said, "Silly it's not your fault either. We both acted impulsively."

"I will do as you say." Lisa said lifting her head up.

Wiping her tears away, Jungkook said, "Let's give it a shot. Let's not give up so easily. I'll always be there for you and I believe that we will pass this difficult phase together."

"Really?" Lisa asked.

Kissing the tip of her nose, Jungkook said, "Really but you've listen to me and eat whatever I feed you with."

Hugging him tightly, Lisa said, "I am sorry Jungkook. I seriously did not realise that it is difficult for you too. I am sorry."

"Yes you even said that you don't need me."

"I am sorry."

"You even said that both of you don't need me."

"I am sorry."

"You also said that there is no difference between me and that Oh Sehun."

"I am sorry."

"You even called me heartless."

"I am sorry."

Jungkook chuckled and said, "You even said that-"

Hitting him on his chest, Lisa said, "Stop teasing me."

Lifting her on his arms, Jungkook asked, "How big is the baby?"

"6-7 weeks." Lisa said.

Placing her on the bed, Jungkook caressed her stomach and said, "Hey you little brat you've already taken my wife away from me."

Lisa chuckled and asked, "How so?"

"She is still inside you and you've already started taking her side leaving me alone. No wonder what will happen to me after she is born." Jungkook said making a very sad face.

Caressing her stomach, Lisa said, "It's not like that."

"Yes it is. You told me that you both are enough for each other and you don't need me. You mother daughter pair have already started bullying me." Jungkook said.

Lisa chuckled and asked, "How are you so sure that it is a girl?"

Jungkook shrugged his shoulders and said, "Father instincts."

"Hey stop copying my line." Lisa said.

Stretching her hands towards him, Lisa said, "Come and sleep beside me."

Taking off his shoes, Jungkook snuggled beside her.

Laying her head on his chest, Lisa said, "I am sorry once again Jungkook. I was wrong this time."

Kissing her forehead, Jungkook said, "It was my fault too."

"Jisoo said that we should wait till the first trimester is over. If the complications remain as it is, I will have an abortion." Lisa said.

Jungkook sighed and said, "Let's take things as they come okay?"

Lisa nodded her head.

"We are so strange Lisa. We fight and then reconcile within no time." Jungkook said.

"That is because I love you." Lisa said.

"I love you too." Jungkook said.

Drawing circles on his chest with her hands, Lisa asked, "W-what did you do with Oh Sehun?"

"He is still alive." Jungkook said.

Lisa pursed her lips and said, "Don't kill him."

"Why?" Jungkook asked.

"I mean don't kill him now. Y-You can do anything you want with him after our baby is born. I don't want anything bad to happen till he is born." Lisa said.

Jungkook widened his eyes in shock and asked, "He? What he? You want a boy?"

Lisa chuckled and said, "Yes. A cute little boy just like you."

Jungkook shook his head and said, "No Lisa boys are naughty. Girls are a lot better than boys."

"Girls are naughty too." Lisa said.

Jungkook shook his head and said, "Girls are cute kind of naughty. Imagine if a cute little girl wearing a pink frock breaks a vase or does something wrong and then stands in front of you with her hands crossed behind her back, eyes full of tears waiting for you to scold her, will you have the heart to scold her? Atleast I won't. Whereas if a boy does that, I'll definitely scold him or may be thrash him a little too."

Lifting her head up, Lisa said, "Gender discrimination is illegal."

Jungkook chuckled and said, "As if I am a legal person."

Touching her forehead, Jungkook asked, "Does it hurt?"

Lisa shook her head and said, "Not anymore." before crashing her lips against his.
