Hi everyone. This is my third chapter posted this month. First of all, I would like to apologize.

The last time, I said 'next year' ...that turned out to be a lie.

I was working on a chapter that I was going to post next year, and I thought, 'Huh? This might be a better way to finish posting this one chapter.' I know that some of my fans were confused, so I apologize for that.

However, I have no regrets. I'm sure this will happen again in the future...

Grand Lago Kingdom, Port City Elkara

On this day, a new state-of-the-art ship was scheduled to arrive at the port of Grand Lago. It was a ship that the Japanese had built and exported to the kingdom in order to regain the technology of battleship construction.

Diles, who had been only the captain of a protected cruiser before coming into contact with Japan, had been trained in Japan and had been chosen to be the captain of the new ship that would be deployed.

"What a spectacular sight," Diles said to Python, a dwarf who had been chosen to be the second-in-command of the ship.

"Honestly. This ship will be able to compete with the main fleet of the Yetisk Empire."

"Thanks to the Japanese export of technology, our anti-aircraft interception capability is far superior to what it used to be."

"We were allowed to pick the name ourselves, right?"

In the Grand Lago Kingdom, ships are named after gems and ores. Such they knew. With the advent of Japan, the era of bombardment by battleships would eventually end.

Of course, according to information, the Yetisk Empire, which is increasing its military power year by year, is building ships called "aircraft carriers," so they must be equipped to operate airplanes at sea and inflict heavy blows even on battleships. Namely, this ship... called "super-dreadnought," as the Japanese call it, will be the last battleship.

Hence the name.

"The only ship of its class, Diamond. Our country's last and most powerful battleship is finally underway, isn't it?"

"Yeah."
