The Barbarassa Empire is finally cornered, and the countries are discussing ways to conclude this matter.

Barbarassa XXI was astonished to find that the troops he had deployed had returned in ragged condition. Unfortunately, not only was Land General Gernia killed in action, but many of the soldiers seemed to be in a state of fear and could not be questioned at all.

All the soldiers could only come up with wild and farfetched tales, such as "Light... from the sky..." or "Gigantes dragon... in a single hit..."

"What is happening...? I can't believe we lost to the Elmeris Kingdom... even more so that we don't get any information."

The prime minister and many of his ministers were exchanging opinions, but none of them are very constructive. Then the Minister of Technology and Development, who is also an expert on military affairs, whispered.

"Could it be, the ancient civilization?"

Everyone in the room reacted, startled.

"Ancient civilization?"

"They had the power to raze an entire town in an instant..."

"They had dragons that surpassed the speed of sound..."

"They had ships over 200 meters long?"

"They disappeared into the sky beyond the stars..."

Fear was written on their faces.

Even Barbarassa XXI had heard a lot about ancient civilization since he was a kid. The horror of this civilization is enough to make one shudder at the lore alone.

"Even if the Elmerians suddenly found one of their relics, I don't think they would be able to use it so easily... but there's no other explanation."

Then the Minister of Agriculture raised his hand.

"Speaking of which, what happened to the Navy?"

"Hm? I haven't heard from them yet..."

Then a navy messenger rushed into the throne room, shouting, "Messenger!! Messenger!!"

"Report!! The three hundred ships of the naval fleet were annihilated before they reached Elmeris!!"

The people in the room began to make a commotion at the impossible report.

"That can't be true!!"

"There is no way that our three hundred ships can be crushed by the Elmerians!! What in the World is happening!?"

"So did Elmeris really have the power of the ancient civilization, or have they joined forces with the ancient civilization itself!?"

Barbarassa XXI struck the cane he was holding loudly.

"Quiet!! This situation will never be solved by chirping like winged people!!"

At his words, everyone had no choice but to be silent.

"Everyone, calm down. What we must be concerned about now is the fact that the Army and Navy have been destroyed."

They looked up in realization.

"I see! At this rate, the enemy can invade our capital!!"

"W-we must quickly fortify our defenses!!"

"B-but all that's left is a small force of fifty wyverns and fifty thousand garrison troops... far smaller than the invasion force!!"
