Chapter 128: Battle Of The Elements Part 1

Looks like the spirits finally made their move. 

"We need to get out of here," I told Whitney.

Whitney listened and followed me. Our destination was the shop.

On our way there, I called Kenji and Yuno to start up the Combat Bots and get them ready for battle. While they were doing that, I quickly got Whitney to the shop. 

The moment we got to the shop, I called Iris. Once she got downstairs, I saw that she was worried.

"Yuuto, what's going on?" She asked with concern.

"The city's getting invaded. I need you and Whitney to leave the city as soon as possible." 

"What about you?" 

"I'm going to help the people as much as I can." 

Iris was about to protest, probably wanted to help as well, but I didn't give her a chance to talk back and left the shop. I then called Billy and Nami.

[Nami, where are you right now?]

[I heard the siren and went to check out what was going on. That's when I saw an army of monsters charging at the gate.]

[I know. Listen, I need you to get back to the shop and escort Whitney and Iris out of the city. After that, you come back and help evacuate the rest of the people.]

[Alright.]

I ended the transmission and then called Billy.

[Billy-]

[Hey, Yuuto, ya seeing this?! There's a brigade of monsters at the gate!]

[Yes, I know-]

[You know?! Where are you?!]

[I'm heading to the gate right now. Listen, I need you to-]

[Oh, crap! They're breaking through! All the soldiers are getting killed!]

[What?!]

[There's too many of them!]

[Billy, get out of there! Now!]

[Holy-!]

[Billy? Billy?!]

"Damn it!" 

It sounds like the spirits army was too much for the soldiers. That's not good. 

[Kenji, are the bots ready?] I called Kenji.

[Yes, Master.]

[Good. I'm opening up a portal once I get to the gate. The moment I do, the bots go through and fight the monsters.]

[Understood.]

Alright, time for the real fun to start now. Let's hope I make it in time before any more people get hurt.

-Billy's POV-

Holy crap, that's a lot of monsters!

There's about a few hundred of them. Where the hell did they even come from?!

There were centaurs, satyrs, wyverns, earth golems, slimes, spiders, scorpions, and griffons. There were even a few S to triple S monsters. 

This is unreal . . . 

I was right on top the gate, watching the entire scene unfold. The soldiers guarding the gate were all slaughter without even putting up that much of a fight. 

The monsters were now attempting to break down the gate to get inside the city. I was cutting it a little close so I decided to leave before they spotted me.
