Colby walked out the door without waiting for an answer, leaving me there, trying to figure out what I was feeling.

"I love you too Colby Brock." I whispered into Prissy's fur as I heard the front door slam shut.

Now what? I had just woken up, puked my guts up, remembered something with Katrina...and then Colby left.

I knew it probably wouldn't take him long but what was I supposed to do until then? Maybe I could go talk to Kat. Yeah, I would do that.

See if she could tell me anything or if being around her might trigger something. Seemed like it did, every time I got around her so it was worth a shot. Plus that little memory was really getting to me.

To think that I've had an actual best friend for this long and I didn't remember it. For me, for someone who was used to being alone, and dealing with everything that life threw at her, utterly alone...this was big...and I wanted it so badly. I crawled out of bed, noticing that they didn't clean up where I got sick.

Okay, so that first. A tarp was on the floor so that made it easier. I rolled it up, being careful not to make a mess, and carried it outside.

I didn't have a clue where the hose was though so I just left it on the side of the house. I would ask Colby when he got back. I walked back inside the front door and started to make my way back up the stairs, when I heard a burst of laughter, and music being turned up then back down.

There were more people here.

Didn't Colby say that the people he lived with were my friends?

My family?

So, they might like to see that I'm awake right? I felt like I should wait for Colby but then I shook my head.

What was the point in that? They knew me and he said they loved me so they should be happy to see me. Maybe Katrina was with them too.

I followed the voices and the music to a room set off of the kitchen area. I turned the door handle slowly, trying to peek in before I actually opened the door. The room was quiet now except for the low music playing.

I fell forwards suddenly, when the door was yanked out of my hand. I smashed into something hard, but I was still standing so it wasn't the floor. It was a chest.

A very hard chest.

I pushed my hands against it, to steady myself, then jumped when I heard shrieks all around me.

"Chloe! You're awake!"

I was enveloped in a bone crushing hug by a very tiny girl dressed in baggy black jeans, with a hot pink crop top. Before I could ask who she was I was being passed around the room, from arms to arms, not even registering who the arms belonged to. I did notice that they were guys except for the tiny girl that hugged me first.

So that meant that Katrina wasn't down here.

What time was it even? The little windows, in what I now realized was a garage, showed that it was dark outside. When they let me go, I stood there nervously with a lot of faces that I didn't recognize, but they still somehow looked familiar, staring at me.

I shuffled from one foot to the other, and gave them a timid smile.

"Um hi. I just wanted to say hi."

The tiny girl giggled, and stepped towards me, wrapping her small arm around my waist. "Hi. When did you wake up? I'm so excited that you're back! I missed you!" She squeezed me against her small frame while I stood there awkwardly.

"Just a few minutes ago. But Sam and Colby left. Said they had to do something with a witch. I heard voices so thought I would see who it was. I was looking for Katrina..." My voice trailed off after I stopped rambling like a nervous idiot.

I took a second to glance around at all the faces looking at me. A guy with pink hair stood on the other side of the tiny girl, a friendly smile on his cute face. Two guys with some killer tats stood next to him, a dark skinned guy with a big grin on his face, a guy that looked a touch older than the others with a full beard and mustache, and a tan skinned, built guy, with chocolate eyes.

"You don't know who we are, do you?" One of the tatted guys asked.

I pulled my lips inside my mouth, and shook my head.

"No, I'm sorry. I don't."

The smiles on their faces drooped a little, but the girl brought hers back automatically. "It's okay. I know you'll remember soon."

"Yeah, we're kind of unforgettable, beautiful." The guy with the beard growled out, smiling and wagging his eyebrows at me.

I wasn't sure if I found him creepy or not yet. This whole thing felt a little creepy.

"Katrina is upstairs asleep. I thought she was in the room with you actually. Devyn is asleep too. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you woke them up." The guy with the chocolate eyes told me. "I'm Corey, by the way."

I gave him a small smile to thank him.

"Oh yeah, we have to do that again. I'm Tara, your favorite vam-"

The small girl, Tara, was cut off by the guy with the tats that spoke earlier.

"Tara!" He exclaimed shaking his head at her, with narrowed eyes.

"Oops, that would've been bad. Okay, I'm Tara, this is my boy toy Jakey Poo, this creepy bastard is Elton, this is Aryia, Kevin, and the guy who likes to interrupt people is Mike, and Corey already introduced himself. So now you know us! Again."

I had to believe that I was friends with this girl, because she was amazing. I could already tell. As I looked at each of them to see if it triggered any of my memories, I noticed that they all had that same weird silver ring that both Sam and Colby had in their eyes.

"Are you all related in some way?" I blurted out.

The one called Mike furrowed his brow.

"Why?"

"Oh, um, because your eyes all have that silver ring, and I've never seen it before. Thought it must be a family trait."

He smirked a little while the others laughed gently. "Something like that I guess."
