~~~Authors perspective~~

    Richie was sitting on the boat,
overlooking the water. They just got a new Guild Hall built, and his brother was back. Everything was going well for Richei, that's always what he thought but, he knew something was wrong. He knew exactly what it was.

    You see he killed Tapio he hated himself for it but,that's not what made it worse. No it was not even close it was the fact it was his long secret crushe's best friend. You see he had a crush on the small fire Mage since a short while after she joined the guild. Thow he never admitted it, and he probably never will now. Since he is pretty sure she hates him, and all which is a reasonable guess. He started to lose track of his thoughts they were wondering why he wasn't paying attention.

    Now let's check on Kit shall we.
Kit was wondering the island. She wasn't really paying attention, to where she was going. She was lost in thought thinking about someone. You see she has a crush are the resident blue headed Guild Leader. But one thing was for sure she wouldn't admit it not unless she knew he liked her back. After what happened to Tapio, he was the only one aware of who her crush was and supported her on it. Even in his last moments he told her that when the time comes give Richie a chance. She kept those words close to her chest, and no one knew of them but her.

   There was a slight problem see everyone thought she hates him. Which made sense where he killed her best friend. But to be honest she thought she did hate him for a sort while. But for the longest time she didn't her crush on him grow more strong over time, she try to deny it but, she couldn't. You see she had a crush on him less two weeks of joining the guild. After he killed her best friend she thought those feelings for him would have faded, but they didn't.

    Know how many times she tried to deny it. Her feelings kept growing apart of her hated that. She was so lost in thought she found herself at the docks, was particularly about to get on the boat. She spotted Richie, she noticed he was lost in thought, as well looking over the water. At first she was going to leave him. But something told her to talk to him so she did.

~~~Kit's perspective~~~

    I made my way to Richie. He didn't notice me when I was behind him so I decided to stand beside him. He still didn't notice me, which was odd for him. Him being a lightning devil Slayer, he should have sent me, unless he was too lost in thought. I never seen him like this before, I got curious what was on his mind. I caught myself looking right at his face surprisingly he hasn't noticed me yet. I decided to clear my throat.

~~~Richie's respective~~~

    I didn't notice anyone was near me until I heard someone clear their throat. I looked over, and see Kit. I thought maybe I was standing in her spot, so I go to leave. But she grabbed my hand, I looked at her slightly confused. That's when I noticed the slight curiosity, worry, and other emotions I can't quite explain in her eyes, but none of them were hatred, or any negative emotions towards me. Which surprised me, I find myself staring into her eyes. We both didn't say anything. But we both got lost in each other's eyes.

    After a couple minutes I spoke up tentatively.

"D-D-Do you h-h-hate me?"
I found myself asking the words felt like.... they were stuck in my throat and cutting my heart? It hurt I don't know why.

~~~Kit's Perspective~~~

  "D-d-do you h-h-hate me?" Richie asked in a sad tone his voice stuttering, and hesitant.

When he said that "Do you hate me?" it hurt hearing the sadness, and acceptance in his voice made it worse. I don't know why. I found myself saying something that surprised me.

  "No.... I don't hate you"
I said surprisingly comely, and honestly.

   "I thought you did with the whole-"
Before Richie could finish, I cut him off. I grabbed his hand leading him to the garden behind the guildhall. I don't know why, I just moved.
surprisingly today had no one in it. It was completely empty! it was the perfect spot to talk..... No.... Confess.....

~~~No one's perspective~~~

    Richie looked confused, why were they in the garden. He noticed it's sat a perfect mood, almost a romantic one.

  He looks back towards Kit. Who had a slight tint of pink on her face.

"R-Richie.."
Kit said in a low and somewhat flustered voice.

"Yes?"
   Richie asked curiosity slipping into his voice.

  "I-I....I.... like you.......a lot for a while now."
Kit said nervously, blushing like crazy.

   Richie was shock, and a blushing mess for a couple of seconds. It made Kit nervous. Before she could say something else. Richie pulled her in for a kiss. Kit was shock before she started to kiss back. Before they separate for air.

  "I like you too shorty. And with that said will you be my girlfriand?"
Richie ask the last part nervously.

  "Yes a million times yes!!!!"
Kit said overjoyed as she hugged and kissed him again.
