Jungkook and Lisa were staring at each other. For a moment, the air seemed to freeze.

Finally, Jungkook made the first move.

He coughed dryly and turned his head slightly to hide his embarrassment.

Lisa looked at his red ears and pursed her lips tightly.

Lisa tilted her head and looked at Jungkook. "What did you say? I was in a daze and didn't hear it clearly."

When Jungkook heard this, he turned to look at Lisa. "Were you asleep just now?"

Lisa nodded and said, "Yes! I felt someone behind me. I was frightened and woke up!"

Jungkook stepped back and sat on a chair at the side, looking at Lisa.

Jungkook nodded, showing no intention of leaving.

Lisa frowned and looked at Jungkook. "I said I'm going to sleep. Shouldn't you go home?"

Jungkook's eyes were still fixed on Lisa, showing no reaction at all.

Lisa lifted the blanket in a fit of pique to cover her head. "Don't talk to me when I'm asleep again!"

Lisa covered herself with the blanket and decided to ignore Jungkook.

Jungkook said, "So you heard it just now, right?"

Lisa paused for a moment before lifting the blanket. "So what if I heard it!"

"You didn't tell me personally! Should I answer you?" Lisa became angrier as she spoke, glaring at Jungkook.

Jungkook looked at Lisa's expression and the corners of his mouth slowly rose. "Do you want to hear me say it again? Personally?"

Jungkook looked at Lisa's face that instantly turned red.

She rolled her eyes and pulled the blanket back, half-covering her face.

Jungkook seemed to have made up his mind. He walked to the bedside and sat down on the edge of the bed.

He gently reached out his hand and slowly pulled Lisa's blanket down, revealing her face.

Jungkook stared at Lisa's face with a solemn expression. "Lili, I like you, and I'm willing to let you cling to me for the rest of your life..."

"So, can you not cling to others?" Jungkook looked at Lisa without blinking.

Lisa looked at Jungkook and suddenly felt a moment of trance.

The reason she once clung to Jungkook was to survive, but now?
