Lisa lay on the bed, trying her best to suppress herself and not to scream.

Lisa was not a fool. It was not that she did not remember and think about every encounter she had.

However, for Lisa, her past life had been too hard. She only hoped that she could live a simpler life this time!

"Don't you understand? You need to straighten everything out before you can truly live comfortably!" The system's voice faintly sounded.

Lisa opened her eyes and looked at the familiar ceiling in front of her. "Second System, does life have to be so full of disasters?"

The system's voice sounded immediately. "Not everyone's life is so exciting!"

Lisa's expression became gloomy and sad. "I don't want anything exciting, I just want simple happiness!"

The system sighed and said, "Your goal now should be to live..."

"Then why do so many things bother me?" The more Lisa thought about it, the sadder she became.

The system sighed again. "These are the reasons why you can't live well!"

"I'm not going to beat around the bush with you. I just want to know, how can I get rid of these things?" Lisa yelled impatiently.

"You can't get rid of them!" The system replied mercilessly.

"These are the trajectories of your life. You have to accept them!" the system repeated.

"Just like you in your previous life. You accepted fate and the arrangements of life," the system said simply. "But, you didn't avoid the bad luck that they brought!"

"So, I hope that you can figure out what it means to live a simple and happy life!" the system's voice sounded a little disappointed.

Lisa closed her eyes again. Her mind was in a mess.

Jungkook returned home, sat at his desk, and hesitated with his phone.

The Lisa today was very different from the Lisa in the past.

She revealed too much unwillingness and sadness in front of him. The pain in Jungkook's heart was indescribable.

And most importantly, the one who brought Lisa this pain was himself!

Jungkook did not go downstairs for dinner, which made Mother Jeon a little anxious.

She knocked on Jungkook's door and waited for a response before pushing it open and walking in. "Why aren't you eating? Are you not feeling well?"

Jungkook shook his head, still full of thoughts.

Mother Jeon looked at Jungkook and frowned deeply. "It's because of... the girl from the Kim family?"

Jungkook looked up at Mother Jeon. "Mom, do you know about Lisa?"

Mother Jeon frowned even more. "I have advised you not to get involved in that girl's matter!"

"The status of our Jeon family is different. This kind of thing will only tarnish the Huo family's reputation!" Mother Jeon emphasized again.

Jungkook looked at Mother Jeon and for the first time, he felt that this kind of mother was a little strange.

"Mom, you've never talked about the Huo family's reputation before." Jungkook looked at his mother with disappointment.

Mother Jeon paused for a moment and then said, "This time, it's different!"

"Son, you have to remember to stay away from the Kim family!" Mother Jeon could not help but remind him.

She reached out and gently put her hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "There are many things that are not as simple as you think."

"I don't want you to get involved in this. And I don't want you to be hurt!" Mother Jeon looked at Jungkook and said with heartache.

Jungkook paused for a moment and then asked again, "Is it because Lisa is not the daughter of the Kim family?"

Mother Jeon looked at Jungkook in surprise. She did not expect him to know about this. "How... How do you know?"

Jungkook shook his head and smiled bitterly. "Because she's the one I like."

Mother Jeon looked at Jungkook's affectionate expression and suddenly felt that her son had grown up!
