Your POV (you are a contestant in II)

We were doing a challenge where we had to carry water inside of these buckets and pour them inside the huge container to proceed. Me and my close friend, Lightbulb, were on the same team so we worked together as best as we could to win.

Lightbulb shouted, "Hey [Y/N], check out this backflip!" She was getting herself in the right position to backflip on the wooden bridge. "Oh, that's amazing, Lightbulb!" I said, cheering her on. "Ehehe, Thanks, [Y/N]!"

My face immediately turned red, and I hid my face using the bucket. I had a secret crush on her, so I've always hidden my crush on her all the time. She continued to try and land a perfect backflip without stumbling back.

On her third backflip, I suddenly heard something crash, almost like glass breaking. I set the bucket down to see what the noise was, and all I could see was Lightbulb covering the top of her head with her hand.

"Oww...that hurt!.." She said, trying to pick herself up. I rushed to her side and held out my hand. "T-Thanks, [Y/N]." "Lightbulb, please be careful next time." I said, rubbing her back. "W-Whoops..." She murmured.

I picked her up and give her a piggyback ride. I could sense that she's slightly falling asleep, but I didn't mind since I had to patch her up. I was able to find some bandages, so I set her down on the grass. She still had a soft smile on her delicate face. I didn't even realize my hands were shaking so much since I was completely flushed while doing this. I could hear my heartbeat pounding fast, the more I look at her the more I just want to pull her close to me and kiss her.

I snapped out of my thoughts and realized she was half-asleep. Probably because of boredom, but I didn't mind.

Carefully, I began to clean the area around the bump. As I applied the bandage to her forehead, she winced slightly but smiled at my caring gesture.

"Thanks, [Y/N]," she said, her voice filled with gratitude. "You're always there for me, just like a true friend!"

I smiled back at her, relieved that she was okay. "Of course, Lightbulb. Friends always look out for each other."

Lightbulb nodded and then gave me a playful nudge. "Next time, though, maybe I'll stick to one backflip. It seems safer, ehehe." She came closer and kissed me for a brief moment, and then carefully laid her head on my chest. I started to breath heavily, my heart pounding with joy. I couldn't even comprehend what just happened, but one thing I do know is that we have mutual feelings for each other.

"I love you, [Y/N]." She whispered, wrapping her arms around me. I chuckled. "I love you too, Lightbulb. I'll always be your biggest supporter."

She had always been a bundle of energy, but when it was just the two of us, she could be her true self – calm, caring, and utterly devoted.

I started planting small kisses on her forehead, changing positions to feel more comfortable. "I love moments like this," I whispered.

"Me too," Lightbulb replied, her voice equally soft. "Just being here with you, it's like the whole world disappears."

I couldn't help but smile as you looked down at her. Her radiant light dimmed slightly, casting a gentle, warm glow on the grass. "You know, you're the light of my life, Lightbulb."

Her glassy surface blushed, and she nuzzled her head into my chest. "You're my everything, too."

As we continued to cuddle for a bit, Lightbulb's eyelids began to droop. She fought to stay awake, not wanting to miss a moment with me.

I noticed her struggle and couldn't help but chuckle softly. "Tired, huh?"Lightbulb yawned, a tiny sparkle of light escaping her. "Maybe a little," she admitted, her eyelids heavy.

"Go ahead and rest," I said, kissing the top of her glassy head. "I'll be right here when you wake up."

With a soft, happy sigh, Lightbulb nestled herself even closer to me, her radiant light gently flickering as she finally surrendered to sleep.

I couldn't help but feel grateful for the adventures and friendships I had found in this unexpected world. As I sat there with Lightbulb, I knew that no matter what challenges came our way, we would always be there to support each other.
