Due to the unexpected appearance of these two individuals, the atmosphere at the scene became increasingly eerie.

Su Yin was slightly startled when he saw them but quickly regained his composure. He continued to channel internal energy into Xiao Bao without pause, nodded at Zong Zheng Han, greeted him as "Prince Shen," and completely ignored the other person. Zong Zheng Shao Yu, upon seeing Su Yin, had a very expressive face—looking aggrieved, jealous, and conflicted.

Seeing that Su Yin was ignoring him, Zong Zheng Shao Yu became even angrier, but he was powerless against Su Yin. Showing a hint of weakness but unable to swallow his pride, he stood there awkwardly.

On the other hand, Prince Shen appeared relaxed, surveyed everyone present without feeling out of place, and chuckled as if he had encountered an old friend, loudly saying, "Isn't this a coincidence? So many people gathered here; it seems I've missed the exciting part, haven't I?"

In a fit of pique, Zong Zheng Shao Yu pointed at Xiao Bao, challengingly staring at Su Yin, and said to Prince Shen, "Uncle, can you kill this lowlife for me?"

Prince Shen smiled thinly, "Your Highness, this uncle can't do that right now. If I kill him, I'd be endangering myself," he indicated, nodding towards the people glaring at him.

Zong Zheng Shao Yu, full of indignation and anger, glared at Su Yin, then turned and pointed at Huai En, "Then kill him, uncle."

Prince Shen looked meaningfully at Huai En, sizing him up with a smile that wasn't quite a smile, "My dear nephew, long time no see, you're looking more and more like your mother."

The situation in the room changed abruptly, which somehow snapped Huai En back to reality. He knew this was not the time to be weak and listless. Everyone there was eyeing him with hostility, eager to get rid of him swiftly. If he couldn't handle this situation, he could forget about seeing Xiao Bao again in the future.

He steadied his nerves, shifted his gaze from Xiao Bao, and met the icy eyes of Prince Shen and Zong Zheng Shao Yu.

Remembering the humiliation in the cave last time, Zong Zheng Shao Yu, still young and hot-tempered, lost control of his temper and pointed at Huai En, shouting, "You rebel, you bastard! Surrender now!"

Huai En didn’t even bother to look at him, just quietly stayed on guard against Prince Shen.

Prince Shen laughed heartily, "Nephew, you need not be so wary. Just surrender peacefully and cooperate with your uncle to destroy the orthodox teaching. I can plead for your life before His Majesty and spare you from death."

Huai En coldly said, "I'm not interested in getting involved in your affairs anymore; who wins or loses has nothing to do with me."

Prince Shen replied, "Has my nephew gained his freedom then?"

"Indeed, I have no more ties with the church. If you want my help, I'm not available. If you try to stop me, you'll have to see if you have the ability."

Prince Shen smiled slightly and nodded towards someone behind him, "Is it because of him?"

Huai En followed his gaze and involuntarily looked towards Xiaobao, who was half-unconscious. His eyes stung painfully, forcing him to look away.

"Hehe, you and your father are quite alike, both deeply emotional," said Prince Shen with a tone heavy with sarcasm, causing Huai En to frown. He began to ponder how to escape.

The forces opposing him outnumbered his own by dozens. His original intention was to break away from the church, and besides Zuo Ying and a few other subordinates, no one was willing to follow him out. After being attacked and decimated by Su Yin, nearly all were wiped out. Now, with You Ying gone to unearth the hidden treasures of the Furun Trade Association and not yet returned, only he and Zuo Ying were left to face many skilled adversaries. Escaping unscathed seemed impossible.
