Panache (pəˈnaʃ/) noun

1. flamboyant confidence of style or manner.

2. (historical) a tuft or plume of feathers, especially as a headdress or on a helmet.

Everyone knew Richard Grayson was a loud, emotional person.

So did it really come as a surprise when he came into the kitchen one morning wearing a panche, paint, and his boxers?

Actually, yes.

Richard didn't make a habit of getting drunk where the younger children could see him, or worse, get into the alcohol he was taking advantage of.

But today was apparently an exception.

The headdress on Dick's head was full of brightly colored feathers, and somehow, glitter.

"Guy! GUYS!" Richard yelled when he ran into the room.

The paint on him was designs drawn by someone drunk, I think we all knew how that turned out.

"Dickie, are you drunk?" Bruce asked.

"Guys!" Dick was totally serious for a moment.

Everyone waited in silence as Richard stood there.

"I'm a peacock!" Richard burst out laughing.

He laughed, head falling into his arms which were on the table.

"Oh gosh, why?" Bruce face palmed.

Richard made a weird noise before falling to the ground laughing hard.

Thank you to Apollo_and_Hades for giving me this idea! :D
