Brianna rested her head against her front door, knowing that she needed to go downstairs. She had gotten a note under her door from the man who owned the building saying that she had a few packages downstairs and needed to get them. Something was added at the bottom saying that he legally couldn't bring the boxes upstairs to her door because it was a rule for the building which meant that she had to get them herself.

Five minutes, she had to leave the apartment for five minutes. Just run downstairs, through the elevator and grab the packages. It was easy and then she could come up again and play with her friends online and stay hidden from the world for a few more days before she wants to return to society again. It was a good plan, she decided as she stepped out of her door.

Then she froze.

"Hey Bri," John looked over at her with a large box in his hands. Brianna was in slightly shock at how big the box in his hands was but kept her mouth shut. But John still saw the way that her eyes narrowed at the sight of the box. "Oh, uh," John held the box up a little more with a nervous smile on his face. "For work." He tells her and she nodded a little in response.

"Yeah," Brianna said with a small sigh, knowing how it was to get a lot of packages. She had never had an actual job other then streaming before though so she had no idea why the man would be getting a package but decided not to ask any more questions about it. "I get that." She told him and a smile broke across his face in response.

"You have a lot of mail downstairs." John said, suddenly remembering how much mail had been downstairs in the mail room. He had made a small mental joke to himself as he had grabbed his singular package, not sure why she had so much stuff waiting. Although she was new to the building, so maybe it was stuff from her old home or parents. "Forget where your front door was?" He joked and Brianna couldn't help but glare at him.

"Ha ha." Brianna said dryly and John grinned, clearly very proud of himself and Brianna only shook her head at the boy. "No, just haven't gotten to it." She told him with a small shrug, a frown suddenly crossing her face as she realized what the man had just said. "There is a lot?" She asked with a upset look suddenly crossing her face and John noticed but nodded a little nonetheless.

"At least three trips." He told her and Brianna shuffled her feet slightly as they continued to stand together in their corridor.

"Fuck." Brianna whispered to herself.

"Do you want help?" John asked suddenly and Brianna looked up at him again with a look of unsure. "It'll make it faster and we can make it into one trip." He explained, realizing that he must sound like an idiot for making it seem like she couldn't do it herself.

"Actually," Brianna said, silently thankful for the help that her neighbor was offering. She couldn't help but silently also wonder why he was so nice to her, even when she had acted so cold to him in the beginning. "I would really appreciate that." The girl told him with a small nod, wanting to let their friendship grow because she had never had a person like him act this way towards her in real person.

"No problem," John said with a grin and then looked down at the package which was in his hands. "Let me just," He easily unlocked his front door and pushed the box inside the room before turning back to the girl. As he opened his door Brianna saw a glimpse of the name on the package and she saw that it was a box labeled fragile with parts from Omen. He must like gaming too then, Brianna figured.

"Thank you so much." Brianna thanked him again as he turned back to her and he gave her a smile.
