Madelyn is in her patients room with Webber, Lexie and April listening to their patient explain what happened

"So then a couple days ago we're at the grocery store, Gary and I, And then next thing I know, i'm flat on my back in the frozen food section" Mrs Clark explains

"She fainted" her husband says to the doctors

"And I have never fainted, i've never even seen anybody faint, I don't believe in fainting" Mrs Clark adds

"Do you hit your head" Webber asks

"I would if this one hadn't caught me" she replies smiling at her husband who chuckles in response

Lexie starts expanding Mrs Clark's results to Webber "Mrs. Clark is anemic and guaiac positive, so there's definitely internal bell sign, which looks like it's coming from..."

"A friable timor near the ampulla of Vater" April says interrupting Lexie and pointing at the scans

Madelyn rolls her eyes at the girls irritating behaviour while Lexie sarcastically says "Yes, thank you for that, Dr Kepner" looking April dead in the eye the girl catching onto Lexies irritation

"Dr. Swender told us the biopsy showed the cancer was back, but she said you might be able to take it out" Mr Clark says

"There's a chance I won't be able to go in as deeply as I need to, but i'll promise to do everything I can" Richard reassures the couple

"Anything you could do..." Mr Clark says

"We appreciate it, Dr. Webber" Mrs Clark says "Thank you" she says kissing her husbands hand

Madelyn is in the OR assisting on Webbers surgery on Mrs Clark

"Dr. Webber, did you consider doing a whopper on Mrs. Clark?" Lexie asks

"I did. But since the cancer came back, I think I can do a local resection and get the entire visible tumor"

April's eyes trail away from the surgery and up to the gallery where Derek stands observing

"Dr Kepner, are we boring you" Richard asks nothing Aprils attention being elsewhere

"No, sir." April says shaking her head "I just... I wasn't expecting Chief Shepherd to be up in the gallery during a general surgery" this makes Lexie and Madelyn look up only now noticing the man followed by Richard "I guess that's the chiefs job right? Evaluating, observing? April continues

Richard turns back to face the resident "Dr Kepner you're in my OR and the only one observing and evaluating you right now is me" he says sternly

"Yes, sir, I'm sorry sir" April says keeping her head down

Madelyn glares at the resident and can't help but think does this girl ever know when to stop talking. But Madelyn wished she'd stopped looking at the girl before she had to witness Aprils eyes trailing back up to the gallery, a look in her eyes Madelyn could not believe, she looked at Lexie who had also noticed the girls strange behaviour, both of them follow April's gaze at frown in confusion who does this girl think she is
