"Okay. Where is she?" Madelyn asks
"Oh, thank God" Maggie exclaims "She's in the bathroom"
"Amelia, open the door" Madelyn says knocking on the bathroom door "Amelia? It doesn't matter. If they don't want to be here, then... they shouldn't be. They never came to my wedding and it was the best day of my life, you're better off without them trust me"
Amelia slowly opens the door "You're still gonna be there right?" she asks her sister
"Of course I will" Madelyn says "Now let me help you finish getting ready"
"Thank you" Amelia whispers pulling her sister in for a hug

"Okay, look up for me" Madelyn says to Amelia as she does her sister make up "What's up?" she asks knowing her sister too well
"Nothing. Derek was supposed to walk me down the aisle. My dad's gone, and he's always... He got the chance to walk you all down the aisle" Amelia says
"I know" Madelyn sighs "It's not fair, but he'd want you to be happy whether he's here or not"
"I know" Amelia whispers
"You look beautiful" Madelyn says "Maggie and Mer will be here in a minute, the three of us will walk down the aisle with you, because we want to, because you're not alone"
"Maddy I think-"
Amelia is interrupted by Madelyn's pager going off "No, no, no, no" the younger Shepherd mutters
"What happened?" Amelia asks
"One of my post-op patients needs emergency surgery" Madelyn says
"Can't you get Callie to do it or-"
"It's a kid, I have to. Callie won't have time to catch up on my post-op notes" Madelyn says
"But-"
"Amelia, I will be back as soon as I can. I love you" Madelyn calls out to her sister as she runs out the room

Mid surgery Bailey rushes into the OR "It's Kepner" the woman says
"What? What happened?" Madelyn asks
"Page Torres" Bailey says to one of the scrub nurses who does so "Shepherd lets go"

"Why is she at Meredith's?" Madelyn asks "I got to get my keys" she says trying to remember where she left them
"Oh... No, no. There's no time" Bailey says directing Madelyn towards Arizona who is on the phone with Ben
"Here. Right. You rotate the baby in utero... face down" the blonde says putting the phone on speaker
