Seattle grace mercy west was being turned into some reality show, you know following traumatised doctors around the hospital so the whole world can know the consequence of a mass shooting. Just what Madelyn wants, to relive that day again...

Madelyn arrives with Lexie to the hospital like most days, also like most days they can't get in because Lexies ID picture was taken when she was blonde, everyday, every single day this happens

"Come on!" Lexie says to the security guards "We go through this every morning. It's me. I swear. I just...I have a different hair colour, that's all."

Madelyn notices Chief Webber walking past the doors speaking to the camera man "Chief" she yells "Chief, would you please come and tell them that it's Lexie? Please?"

"Please come tell them that I'm me" Lexie begs

The chief excuses himself and walks over to the girls "What's going on?"

"I just...Every day."

Later that day the interviews have Madelyn, Meredith and Cristina sat down together

"We got this new state-of-the-art like, lockdown system" Cristina explains

"To isolate different areas of the hospital in case of an emergency" Meredith continues

"Yeah, cause supposedly, at the last emergency, there were some people wondering around" Madelyn says, all three girls sharing knowing looks trying to hide their amusement

As Madelyn is wheeling her patient through the hallways when the security alarms go of and the lockdown system is in progress, she soon realises she's stuck between two sets of doors

Madelyn starts aggressively pulling the doors to try and get them open "Nurse! Come here!" she says "Call maintenance"

"Dr Shepherd" the nurse says "Dr Shepherd, your patient!"

Madelyn turns around and sees her patient is coding, she starts performing CPR

"Dr Shepherd, hold on! Dr Shepherd!"

Teddy comes rushing over "Let me in there. Move. Shepherd, Shepherd!" she yells banging on the doors

"Shepherd, look I was waiting in radiation. How's the patient?"

"Damn it! How long has he been coding?"

Madelyn doesn't answer she's still performing CPR

"Shepherd, you're gonna break his ribs"
