"Okay" April says helping Madelyn out of the car

"I got it" Madelyn dismisses

"Mhm" April says holding her hands up in surrender at taking a step back "Go inside, i'll bring your things"

"Yes Ma'am" Madelyn says making her way to Meredith's front door and into the living room letting out a massive sigh as she takes a seat

A few moments later April walks in and puts Madelyn's bags down at the bottom of the stairs "You okay?" she asks looking over at the brunette who's shut her eyes

"Mm" Madelyn hums in response

"Do you want me to stay until someone's home?" April asks

"No, no" Madelyn dismisses "Willow is on her way over"

April swallows the lump in her throat "I could stay until she gets here?"

"No need" Madelyn replies "Thank you, but i'll be okay"

"Okay" April agrees hesitantly

"You'll bring Alexis over in a few days?" Madelyn asks

"Yes, of course. I'll drop her off on Friday" April replies

"Tell her I love her tonight, and every night" Madelyn says

"I do, and I will" April replies "Can you stand?" she asks

"Of course" Madelyn replies "Look don't worry, i'm fine"

"I know that" April replies "Just get up" she says

Madelyn slowly lifts herself from the couch, not sure what April was trying to prove, but the second she's securely on her feet the redheads pulls into a tight hug

"Woah" Madelyn says trying to keep her balance as her arms wrap around Aprils body

"Sorry" April whispers into the brunette hair "I'm just glad you're okay"

Madelyn pulls back a little so she can look at April "I am, thanks to you" she replies "Now go, i'll be fine"

April slowly nods as she wipes away a stray tear "Okay, i'll see you friday, call me if you need anything"

"I will" Madelyn reassured watching as the redhead leaves Meredith's home with a sad smile

"Hi" a small voice says walking into Madelyn's room

"Willow, hey" Madelyn replies with a smile, putting the book she was reading down

"Room for me?" Willow asks

"Always" Madelyn replies moving over slightly so the blonde can lay next to her

Willow immediately pulls Madelyn to lay on her chest, ruining her fingers through the brunettes hair "Tired?" the blonde asks noticing the brunette had already shut her eyes

"Mm" Madelyn hums in response

Willow chuckles softly, leaning down to kiss the top of Madelyn's head "I've missed you"

"Me too" Madelyn replies softly "Tell me about your day" she instructs just wanting to fall asleep to the sound of someone's voice

Friday felt like it took forever to come around , but it was here finally, Willow and Madelyn were in the kitchen making lunch when April walks into the room carrying a bag in one hand and Alexis in the other

"Oh, there's my girl" Madelyn says rushing over to them "Hi, hi, hi" she says taking her baby in her arms and kissing her head a few times "How's my baby?"

April smiles at the interaction "She's good" the redhead replies "Hi Willow" she says sending the blonde a small wave

"Hey" Willow replies "You staying for lunch?" she asks

April looks between Madelyn and Willow "Uh, no, no that's okay, I have to get back to work"

"You sure?" Madelyn asks

"Yeah" April replies "Look after our girl" she says placing a kiss on Alexis' head

"Always. Say bye mama" Madelyn says taking Alexis hand and waving goodbye to April who sends them a small wave in return as she leaves "Now, Alexis, I want you to meet Willow" moving closer to the blonde "She is going to take care of us both, she's good like that" Madelyn says "You wanna hold her?" she asks

Willow smiles at the baby "I do" she replies, Alexis already holding out her arms to be taken

"Hm, I think she likes you already" Madelyn says with a smile
