Madelyn and Meredith approach Cristina who stands with her back facing the chiefs office
"Hey, So Is it true you hello Teddy and Mark deliver Little Sloan's baby?" Meredith asks
Cristina looks over her shoulder "Yeah, not now."
"What's wrong with you?" Madelyn asks
"Tom Evans, in with your brother" Cristina says trying to be discreet
Madelyn and Meredith look into Derek's office "That's Tom Evans?" Meredith says shocked expecting the man to be older "He seems a lot younger than..."
Cristina stops the girl "Try and be cool"
"Good morning" Altman says walking by the girls
"Hey, hey, hey!" Cristina says stopping the woman "He's in with Shepherd"
"Who?" Teddy asks
"Tom Evans!" Cristina says
Teddy looks confused "Tom Evans is here?"
"You didn't know?" Madelyn says
"He's doing his bloodless CABG on a beating heart, today in our OR. Shepherd didn't tell you" Cristina asks
"No, no" Teddy says but starts sneezing uncontrollably
"Bless you, bless you" Cristian says
"Excuse me. No, he didn't"
"An Evans bypass. Clear your schedule. Scrub in!" Cristina says
Teddy's pager starts going off "No, I can't. I gotta go" she says walking away
Derek and Tom approach the three residents from behind "And here she is. Your cruise director, Dr Yang" Derek introduces
"Dr Evans, hi. Hi" Cristina says shaking the man's hand "Hi, i'm Cristina Yang. I'm a huge fan" she continues becoming giddy like a teenage girl
"She's a groupie , but you're gonna forgive her because she's one of the finest cardio residents you'll meet" Derek says
"Quite a recommendation" Tom replies "You scrubbing in with me toady?
"Yes" Cristina replies immediately "It's an honour and a privilege" she fumbles around with the files in her hand "Here are the patient charts and the most recent labs" she hands them to him "If there's anything else you need, ask. I'll be around all day following you, if that's okay with you"
"She is a groupie. I like her" Tom says to Derek who laughs before introducing the other two residents
"This is my sister, Madelyn Shepherd and my wife Meredith Grey"
