"Madelyn!" April calls from Alexis' nursery "Can you come here please"
Madelyn puts down her french toast with a groan before she walks into the babies room "What's wrong?" she asks
"Nothing" April replies
"Okay, then what do you need?" Madelyn asks
"Nothing" April says again
"So why am I here when I could be eating french toast?" the brunette questions
"Because" April says taking Alexis out of her crib "Alexis wants her mom" she says handing the baby to Madelyn
The brunette instantly scrunches her nose in disgust when the baby is placed in her arms "Oh God, what the hell is that smell?!" she exclaims
"That would be your baby" April replies
"You mean our baby" Madelyn says "Our baby who want's to see mommy" she says attempting to hand Alexis back
"Mommy is busy" April says
"Busy doing what?" Madelyn asks
"I have to go to work early I have chief stuff to do-"
"April" Madelyn says
"Sorry" the redhead replies as she walks out
"She's not sorry" Madelyn says to Alexis "But you should be" she says pulling a face at the smell "You're lucky I love you"

"Okay, there you go" Madelyn says handing Alexis over to the daycare worker "I'll see you later my little love bug" she says softly before leaving
As she walks out and turns the corner she walks into Willow
"Dr. Shepherd" the blonde says "I uh- I was looking for you"
"Everything okay?" Madelyn asks
"I just- i'm having problems with one of my post-op patients and I was wondering if you could take a look at the chart" Willow says
"Yeah, let me have a look" Madelyn replies taking the chart from Willow
As the brunette is reading through the patients post-op notes Willow decides to say "So you and April"
"Huh" Madelyn questions not looking up from the chart
"Are you two together or-?"
"No, kinda. I don't know" Madelyn says awkwardly
"It's fine if you are I mean Jackson and I are kinda seeing each other as well" Willow says
