"Please, please, please pick up" Madelyn whispers to herself as waits for Amelia to answer the phone "Amelia?"

"Hi?" Amelia questions

"Listen, I am so so sorry I missed your wedding but I have a surprise for you" Madelyn says "Turn your camera on"

"Okay?" Amelia questions

"Surprise" Madelyn and April both say as the brunette shows her sister their baby

"Oh my God- you had a baby you-"

"Yeah" Madelyn says "And she can't wait to meet her Aunt"

"She? You had a girl" Amelia says

"We did" Madelyn replies

"You wanna know what her name is?" April asks

"Yes!" Amelia replies excitedly

"Do you want to?" April asks Madelyn

"No go ahead" Madelyn replies

"Okay, we decided to call her, Alexandra Amelia Kepner-Shepherd" the redhead says

"You named your baby after me?" Amelia asks

"We did" April replies

"Okay, I think baby Alexis is in need of some sleep, so I will call you later, now go enjoy your wedding night" Madelyn says

"Okay, love you Mads" Amelia says

"Bye, love you" Madelyn replies hanging up

"Okay" Madelyn whispers taking Alexis from Aprils arms and moving her into her crib, the brunette turns around and sees April staring at Alexis "April, she's fine. You need to get some rest to"

"But-"

"April, I promise she's okay, now sleep" Madelyn says

"Can you just stay for a minute, just incase she wakes up and-"

"I wasn't planning on going anywhere" Madelyn says, almost immediately following that statement her phone starts ringing "Jo? Hey, What's up? Jo. Slow down, slow down, slow down. Take a breath. What happened to DeLuca?"

"Okay. There you are" Madelyn says "I went you your house and you weren't there-what are you doing?" she asks the resident

"I'm leaving" Jo replies

"Okay, fine. I'll drive you" Madelyn replies

"No, I'm leaving, leaving" Jo says

"You're quitting?"

"Yeah"

"You're quitting the program? Jo, what the hell happened?"

"I told DeLuca, he knows" Jo says "He knows i'm married"

"It's DeLuca- i'm sure he won't tell anyone" Madelyn says

"Look, Stephanie already tried to talk me out of leaving-"

"Jo please, i'm asking you- i'm begging you please just let me help- let me fix this- it's, please don't go" Madelyn says

"Mads-"

"Just- let's just- Webber's looking for you- he's worried so let's just go find him, okay?"

"Okay"

As Jo and Madelyn arrive in the lobby they see Alex in handcuffs walking down the stairs "You're under arrest for aggravated assault. He just walked up and turned himself in. Made it real easy. He'll be city lock-up. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney and to have an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you. Do you understand these rights as I have read them to you?"

"Yes" Alex replies

Madelyn and Jo watch in silence as Alex gets into a police car

"Jo" Madelyn finally says

"There's nothing you can do to fix this" Jo replies

"I know" Madelyn replies "But I do have a temporary fix"

"Hi" Madelyn says softly knocking gently on April door "Sorry , I know I was the one who told you to get some sleep and now i'm waking you up, but it's been a long night- for everyone, and we kinda have the solution to everyone's problems" she says gesturing towards Alexis who lays awake in her crib

"You can come in" April replies with a smile "Alexis has been waiting to meet her godmother"

"Here we go" Madelyn says handing the baby over to Jo

After a moment Jo says "You're right, this is definitely what I needed. Hi baby" she coos "Oh you're so beautiful"

While Jo continues talking to Alexis, Madelyn walks over to Aprils side "Is everything okay?" the redhead asks

"A lot has happened" Madelyn replies "I'll tell you all about it tomorrow, but tonight-"

"I need to rest. I know" April says

"I was gonna say I need to rest" Madelyn says

"Are you gonna spend the night here?" April asks

"Yeah" Madelyn says "My girls are here, so i'm staying"
