It's been a month since Ben and Bailey's wedding and every spare moment since Madelyn has spent with Lucy. Including this morning, as Madelyn slowly opens her eyes adjusting to the light she feels a weight on her chest, looking down she sees a sprawl of blonde hair and an arm that hangs loosely across her stomach. Madelyn smiles at the sight and starts drawing shapes on the blondes back occasionally stroking her soft hair.

As she does this Lucy slowly starts to wake up only to nuzzle herself closer to Madelyn who places a kiss on the top of her head. She'd grown rather fond of the blonde.

"We have to get up soon" she whispers to Lucy who just groans in response "Today's the day" Madelyn says after a moment

Lucy lifts her head up so she can meet Madelyn's gaze "That's toady?" she asks

"Yeah, well there might be a judgment toady if there is that means we won" Madelyn sighs hating every conversation that relates to the plane crash

"I'll hang around the hospital all day so you can just come find me if you need me" she says placing a delicate kiss on the brunettes lips "Okay?" she asks softly

"Okay" Madelyn replies with a soft smile

Lucy places her head back on Madelyn's chest and closes her eyes "5 more minutes" she mumbles

Madelyn lets out a soft chuckle "Okay, 5 more minutes" she agrees rubbing her hand soothingly up and down Lucy's arm

Once she arrives the hospital Madelyn is immediately bet with a frantic Jo who awkwardly explains how Owen mistook her for Cristina this morning

"He did what!?" Madelyn asks in shock

"Yeah" Jo nods

"He grabbed you boobs?" Madelyn says holding back her laugh

"Yes! He thought I was Cristina, i'm mortified so don't laugh"

"Sorry, sorry. You're right that is traumatising" Madelyn says pulling Jo in for a side hug

"And i'm on Yang's service toady" Jo sighs

Madelyn pulls away from the hug "Well, good luck bambi" she says walking towards the elevator as she chuckles to herself

She enters the elevator only to be met with Derek and Owen, she has to stop herself from laughing again when she sees Owen

"Morning" Derek says to Madelyn who just stands awkwardly between the men

Owen breaks the silence "Hey, I heard there might be a judgment today. I hope it works out for you"

"No, you don't. A judgment comes down that quickly, it means the hospital's negligent. It means you did something wrong. Which you did" Derek says with a snarky tone
