Madelyn was over at Meredith's house having dinner with Mer, Maggie and Amelia because Maggie had suggested it would be a good idea

"Amelia's back" Mer says with a forced smile as she closes the cabinet doors

"What's that supposed to mean?" Amelia asks

"You leave all the doors open... everywhere, all the time" Mer says

"What?"

"Hey, uh, try the artichoke" Maggie says in an attempt to change the conversation

"Bathroom doors, cabinets, everything... open, all the time" Meredith says

"It's true, she used to do that all the time growing up, she'd even leave her bedroom door open when she had boys round, 12 year old me was traumatised" Madelyn says

"Hey, Mads, do you want some wine?" Maggie asks before trying to Amelia "Unless that's not... Is that..."

"It's fine" Amelia says "You invited me back" she says to the blonde

"It's fine" Mer says "Just close a thing once in a while"

"Mer, if you've changed your mind, say the word. I can go" Amelia says

"No!" Maggie exclaims

"It's fine" Mer says again

"So, which resident are you guys nominating for the Preminger Research Grant?" Maggie asks

"Definitely Jo, although I kinda don't want her to leave for a year" Madelyn says

"I'm gonna go to bed" Mer says getting up

"Me too" Amelia says

"We were just sitting down together" Maggie exclaims

"Tired" Mer mumbles

"Early morning" Amelia mutters

"Well, this was fun" Madelyn says to Maggie

"If I speak to Mer, you could speak to Amelia" Maggie suggest

"Nope, not getting involved" Madelyn says dismissing herself

Maggie walks up to Madelyn, Callie, Alex, and Bailey in the cafeteria "Hey. I'm inviting all you lovely people over to the house tonight for dinner"

"Not again" Madelyn sighs

"Oh. Like a... Like a dinner party" Callie says

"We're not doing that again" Alex says

"Just takeout" Maggie says "Whatever. Just come over at 8:00, and I'll feed you"
