"'when you know, you know"

~~~~~
"Maggie, we were just talking" Amelia says as Meredith and Madelyn walk knit the scan room
"Oh, please. How long you think till you move out?" Maggie replies
"Who was talking?" Madelyn asks as Meredith asks "Who's moving out?"
"Amelia and Owen were" Maggie says to Madelyn before turning to Meredith "Amelia, when she marries Owen Hunt and moves into his big, new, kid-friendly house"
"No, no. Okay, hang on. It was a hypothetical conversation" Amelia says
"That is it. In which you were picking out hypothetical furniture for your hypothetical children's hypothetical playroom" Maggie says
"Wow" Mer exclaims
"You want children?" Madelyn asks
"It... it was nothing. Can we drop it, please?" Amelia asks
"Why?" Maggie asks
"Gladly" Mer says
"Gladly? Why gladly? What's wrong?" Amelia asks the blonde who changes the subject
"Do you see a dilation? I'm worried about medullary sponge kidney"
"You didn't answer my question" Amelia replies
"You didn't answer mine" Meredith says
"You think we're moving too fast? Is that it?" Amelia questions
"Amelia, please" Meredith sighs
"You're the one who pushed us back together. You know, you practically yelled at me to run back into his arms, and now..."
"Thanks for the consult" Meredith says as she leaves
"Pleasure as always" Madelyn mumbles following Meredith out
~~~~~

"Oh Jo" Madelyn says stopping the resident "Good news, April and I still like you enough to make you our baby's godmother"

"Oh thank God" Jo says "Because I was beginning to think you'd changed your mind, or now that your divorced April had someone else in mind, but thank God because I have spent a lot of money on this baby already"

"You're such a dork" Madelyn says as she walks away

"A very generous dork" Jo calls after her

~~~~~
Madelyn looks up from her paper work to see Callie walking towards Arizona who's standing opposite the brunette
"Be nice" Madelyn warns the blonde
"I know. But, God, she put me through hell" Arizona replies
