Madelyn sips her coffee as she walks around the kitchen island with Alexis in one arm, telling the baby about her plans for the day which of course Alexis didn't acknowledge.
Her one sided conversation was interrupted by April walking into the kitchen. The two women had been living in almost complete silence as any time either one decided to speak it just turned into an argument.
Madelyn spares a quick glance at the redhead before returning her gaze to Alexis who lay peacefully in her arm.
"I'm viewing a couple apartments this weekend" April says breaking the silence
"Cool" Madelyn replies
"When will you be ready to properly discuss how we're going to figure out Alexis' child care?" April asks
"Whenever you have a moving date" Madelyn replies dryly
"Madelyn" April sighs
"April" Madelyn says
"Can you at least look at me?" April asks
"I'm busy" Madelyn mumbles
"I'm sorry about you and Willow" April says
"Please stop" Madelyn says not wanting to talk about the fact Willow had officially broken up with her over text
"I told her that what I said wasn't true-"
"April please just leave me alone" Madelyn practically begs
"Okay" the redhead mumbles "I'll see you later then" she says heading towards the door but quickly stopping to give Alexis a quick kiss on the cheek

"Mads" a stressed looking Jo says
"What happened?" Madelyn asks, knowing instantly something was wrong
"Someone's calling me to the stand" Jo says
"Who would do that?" Madelyn asks
"I don't know, but i'm really- i'm so scared. They must know. Somehow they... they... they started Googling, and they figured out that I changed my name and that there's a point where Jo Wilson just isn't a person" Jo panics
"They might not know anything" Madelyn says
"What if they ask? If they ask, then I have to answer" Jo says looking the brunette in the eye "It's court. If I lie under oath and get caught, it's a felony. I would lose my medical license. I have to tell the truth if they ask. If I tell them, it's public record. My husband could find me, and everything that I built is... is gone, done"
"Jo" Madelyn says softly
"Madelyn I can't- I don't know what to do" Jo whispers
