Madelyn and April get into Madelyn's car both girls running on adrenaline "Oh my God, Oh my God" April says excitedly "Oh my god...oh my god" she repeats but this time her face drops

Madelyn looks over at the girl "April, do you- do you not want to do this?" she asks

April glances over at her, after a minute of studying Madelyn she says "I want to- I want to do it all-" Madelyn leans over pulling April on for a kiss

"Drive the car" April whispers through the kiss

"Maddy, pull over. Madelyn, just pull over the car. Just..." April begs

"What is it?" Madelyn asks

"Mads, please, just pull over the car now!" April pleads

Madelyn sighs as she pulls over the car "Relax. Just calm down"

"Calm down?!" April  yells "What are we doing? Is-is there a plan? Is..."

"There's no plan. You think I would plan to ruin your wedding?" Madelyn replies

"No-no! That doesn't seem like you"

Madelyn sighs "All right, April, look..."

April shakes her head as she gets out of the car "I can't. I'm sorry. We can't do this. I can't"

"April, get back in the car!" Madelyn says going after the redhead "You can't just walk back!"

"Why?!"

Madelyn scoffs "Bears?"

"Matthew doesn't deserve this! What am I supposed to say to him? My-my parents? My sister- they don't, they didn't vine know I liked women-Oh God they're gonna hate me-How do we explain that we just destroyed a perfectly lovely guy so that we could... what, date?!"

Madelyn thinks "Okay, the best solution is never to speak to any of them ever again"

April scoffs "Or...?"

"Or we get married. I..."

"Because that's easier to explain"

Madelyn shakes her head "No. No, 'cause you're right, all right? I don't want to just date. April, I want the whole damn thing. I... We can get to Lake Tahoe in 13 hours"

"How do you know that?" April questions

"Do you want to get into that right now?"

April rolls her eyes "No"

"No, you don't want to get into that or, no, you don't want to get married?"

April playfully rolls her eyes again "Yes. Yes!" she says making her way towards Madelyn and wrapping her arms around the brunettes neck

Madelyn holds April closely to her "Lets go" she whispers

Madelyn sits with the other board members waiting for Owen to arrive

"Is this about what happened with Karev and Ross?" Mer asks when Owen finally walks in

"What happened with Karev and Ross?" he asks

"Nothing" Cristina and Mer say simultaneously

Owen sighs "One of our surgical residents has lodged an official complaint with human resources. Three separate complaints, actually... directed sеxual harassment, quid-pro-quo harassment, and hostile work environment"

"What? Who?" Arizona asks

"Directed at whom?" Callie also asks

"H.R. won't release that or the name of the resident" Owen says

"Hostile work environment? Come on. Does she have a case, legally?" Callie questions

"O-okay. Is there way that we could... or maybe I could... talk to this person? You know, we could just clear the air before it gets out of proportion" Jackson suggests

"He shouldn't talk to her without legal present" Callie says

"Well, if she's already filed a complaint... " Madelyn goes to say but is cut off by Owen

"You're all missing the point! This is not about one person. This is a complaint about this hospital and this teaching program. We are too often letting our personal lives disrupt our work. None of us are guilt-free... myself included. Now, H.R. have recommended a clear, zero-tolerance policy. "Excluding those of pre-existing married couples..." "relationships of romantic or sеxual nature" "between superiors and subordinates" "will not be allowed." It is restrictive, it is non-negotiable... But it is fair, and, better still, it is unambiguous. I urge you all to vote to implement this"

"Hope you're okay with spaghetti. I had to ditch that leftover chicken" Madelyn says from the kitchen when she hears the front door open and then close

April walks up behind Madelyn and wraps her arms around her torso "I found a home for the ice-cream maker" she whispers into Madelyn's neck

"Oh, I thought we were keeping it. Hope we didn't go through all that for nothing" Madelyn replies turning her head slightly so she can kiss the top of Aprils "We had a board meeting tonight. I don't think we're gonna be able to keep this a secret much longer"

April let's go of Madelyn making the brunette turn around "A meeting about us?" she asks

"Kind of"

"What happened?"

Madelyn smiles down at the redhead "I'll tell you about it after dinner" she whispers leaning in for a kiss
