"Hi, Sofs!" Madelyn says excitedly
"Hi Aunt Maddy!" Sofia replies hugging the brunettes legs
"Why don't you go inside for a minute so I can talk to your mom, and then we'll make pancakes for breakfast" Madelyn says
"With chocolate chips?" Sofia asks
"Of course" Madelyn replies as Sofia skips inside
"I'm so sorry about this" Callie says
"Please. It's the best way to spend a day off, besides I said i'd be happy to have her" Madelyn replies
"I know but you've taken all week off-"
"Callie it's fine" Madelyn dismisses "Does, um, Sofia know anything about what her mommies are doing today?" she asks
"Nope. We're gonna talk to her after we know exactly what's happening" Callie replies
"You ready?" Madelyn asks
Callie shakes her head "No"
"Why don't you go say a quick goodbye" Madelyn suggests
Callie walks over to Sofia who's busy sat at the table with her coloring book "Hey. Come here. Come here" Callie says pulling Sofia in for a hug "Oh, I'm gonna miss you so much. You know what? Mama loves you so, so much. I will see you again before you know it"
"I know" Sofia says innocently "You're hugging me too tight" she then says followed by "You're hugging me too long"
"Callie, you have to go. You don't want to be late" Madelyn says
"Okay" Callie whispers finally pulling away
"Go" Madelyn says "She's gonna be fine. Now Go"

"Hi" April says when Madelyn opens her door
"Hey, come in" the brunette replies
"Is Sofia still here?" the redhead asks
"No, Arizona picked her up a couple hours ago" Madelyn replies taking a seat at the table
April sits down opposite the brunette "So, what were you thinking?" she asks
Madelyn clears her throat "Okay, um... When the baby's born..."
"Wow. Starting Day 1, huh?" April says lightheartedly
"I would like to be in the room for the birth" Madelyn says before following up with "Um, so if that makes you uncomfortable..."
"No, not at all" April says
"Really?" Madelyn questions
