    Madelyn is in surgery with Derek, when Meredith walks through the OR doors 
    Derek glances up and then looks at the time "You're a little early. I thought our date was at 6:30"
    "Well, I'm here now because a guy just walked into the pit with a knife sticking out of his head"
    "Sweet" Madelyn says but quickly changes her attitude when she sees the look Derek is giving her "I mean, poor guy"
    Derek turns his attention back to Meredith "Is he stable?"
    "He's neurologically intact, but..."
    "All right. Well, I need to check on him sooner than later, so, Madelyn, take him down to C.T. stay with him until I get there"
     "All right. Will do" Madelyn replies as she heads out of the OR
    Meredith comes out shortly after "How did this guy get a knife in his head?" Madelyn asks 
    "Oh, apparently there was a brawl at a tailgate party. So you know how stupid guys get..."
    "Mhm" Madelyn hums in response continuing on her way not noticing Meredith was no longer walking with her

    Madelyn and Lexie are both in the trauma room with the knife guy, who won't listen to anything they're saying 
    "Don't touch that!" Madelyn yells at the patient 
    Meredith walks into the room after hearing the shouting "Is everything all right?"
    "Yes" the patient replies 
    "No!" Lexie and Madelyn both say 
    "I was just showing these guys how, when I scrunch up my eyebrows, the knife move see?" He says wiggling his eyebrows 
    "Oh, my God! My God!" Lexie yells panicking 
    "Stop! Whoa. Don't do that! Stop moving the knife!" Madelyn scolds 
    "Okay, okay" the patient says 
    "You guys shoulda seen the brawl. Stew-ball kicked that other guy's ass!" His friend says 
    "Yeah!"
    "Okay, and now Stew-ball has a knife in his head. Oh. Okay, let's focus. Stewart, how much is 14 plus 4?" Madelyn asks
    "18"
    "27 minus 13"
    "15?"
    "No. 172 minus 60"
    "Oh. I have no idea, but it's not because of the knife. It's just 'cause I'm so drunk" Stuart replies 
    "No, actually, it's just 'cause he's dumb" his friend jokes
