Without asking, Callie takes a piece of the banana bread from Madelyn's hand "Banana bread. I'm starving... Mmm."

"Help yourself" Madelyn mutters sarcastically

Callie sighs "I was too busy feeding my family breakfast and getting my sister wife's breast pump packed to feed myself this morning"

"So... you have a sister wife?" Madelyn asks

"Derek and Meredith and I are in a relationship" Callie replies still enjoying the girls banana bread

"Huh" Madelyn replies

"I used to dance in my underwear. And I thought I'd get back to that when I left Arizona. Instead I walked right into "big love." I rebounded to the McDreamys" Callie groans

"That's sad" Madelyn replies

Callie rolls her eyes "At least I haven't rebounded to banana bread" she says as she walks out

"Hey, my banana bread is amazing!" Madelyn calls after the woman

Madelyn aggressively hits the coffee machine for the tenth time becoming more desperate to get it to work as Jackson continues to talk to her

"Of course, now my mom's convinced that Stephanie is some kind of gold digger, trying to use sеx to nab herself an Avery"

"Dude, you and your rich boy problems" Madelyn says rolling her eyes

"You know what the worst part is? I think she actually likes Stephanie" Jackson says ignoring the girls comment

"Well, so then you need to tell your mom that. Stand up for your girl" Mer says overheating the conversation

"That wouldn't work. She'd just hate her even more@ Jackson says

"So what are you gonna do?" Mer asks

Jackson sighs "Nothing. You know, it's like walking into a hornet's nest. You know, you gotta stay still, let the whole frenzy die down. How you doin' with that coffee, Shep?"

"You wanna make the damn coffee? Be my guest. It's a freakin' crap machine" Madelyn replies banging the machine again

"Madelyn just broke the coffee machine" Meredith says as Bailey walks in with her mug

"What the hell?!" Madelyn exclaims

Luckily for Madelyn Bailey wasn't in the mood for Meredith "You're dead to me" she says to the blonde

"Dr. Yang just got a call from... Oh, God. I'm sorry" Shane apologises when he sees Mer pumping her breast

"Oh, Shane, all my parts are covered. You can turn around" Mer says

"I'm fine looking at the wall" the boy replies

"Grow up Shane" Madelyn says walking pass the boy on her way out

"Everything okay?" Madelyn asks walking into the room where Alex is stitching up Zola, who's being held by Meredith "Hi Zozo" she says waving at the little girl

"No, you're brother hasn't bothered to check his phone so now i'm late for my surgery and he's doing- whatever he does" Mer says

"Well, go ahead. Go do your surgery Mer, I'll take Zola

"Doesn't that sound a little Ellis Grey to you... to leave my kid to go to surgery while she's getting stitches?" Mer asks

"You're a good mom, Mer. Take it from me. I had crap mom. I know the difference. Besides, she's not gonna be alone. She's gonna be with me, who she loves more than her own parents" Madelyn reassures

"I can't believe I'm doing this" Mer says

"Look, don't cry, or she will" Alex says dismissing Mer before leaving shortly after

Madelyn looks down at Zola on the bed who holds up her arms eagerly to her aunt. Madelyn picks her up "Hows my favourite girl doing? Weren't you just so brave toady, yes you were. You get that from me" Madelyn says placing a kiss on Zola's temple "What do you wanna do? Do you wanna watch some really cool surgeries?"
