"Wait. Maggie Pierce is quitting?!" Bailey says walking up to Madelyn and Jackson
"I know. We're into it" Madelyn replies
"Tell me I'm not losing another cardio chief" Owen says
"Madelyn and I are into it, all right? My mother's already called me twice. It's a P.R. nightmare" Jackson replies
"She's damn right it is... first Russell, then Yang, now Pierce?" Bailey says
"Yang and I busted our asses interviewing people, and now I have to start this whole process over?" Owen says
"Well, evidently, because it looks like we hire from week to week. We're a revolving door" Bailey says "Hey, you heard about Pierce?" she asks Richard as he walks by
"Uh, yeah, I just read the e-mail" he replies
"Well, what should we do?" Bailey asks
Richard shrugs "I don't see anything we can do"
"Well... I mean, we should talk to her" Bailey suggests
"Not me" Richard replies instantly
"We... okay, well, I didn't mean you! I meant all of us! We should get the whole board together, do a full-court press"Bailey says
"Uh, yeah, yeah. You spearhead that" Madelyn says
"Well, I will. Lucky for you, the board just got a transfusion of new blood. Maybe I could keep this place from looking like a clown car. Maggie Pierce cannot quit" Bailey says fiery before walking off

"She keeps saying talk to my wife. Do you know what she means?" Derek asks his sisters for the millionth time
"Maybe" Amelia shrugs
"Well?" Derek pushes
"But I'm not talking about anything I might have learned in A.A. about someone... Because I made a pledge there. But someone else might know what I can't talk about" Amelia says
"Is Pierce in A.A.?" Derek asks
Amelia shakes her head "No. No! So you should definitely talk to her"
"She'll just say talk to my wife" Derek replies
"Then you should talk to your wife" Amelia says walking off
"Madelyn?" Derek says
"What" she replies
"I know you know" Derek says
"Yeah, because I spoke to your wife. So speak to Meredith" Madelyn replies
"But-"
"Derek" Madelyn groans "Leave me alone"
"That's mature" Derek says sarcastically
"You know what's not mature. Not being able to speak to your wife" Madelyn says as she gets up to leave

"April?" Madelyn says walking into the quiet apartment, she sees a note on the counter saying

Madelyn smiles to herself, just as she's about to take her food out of the oven she hears a noise coming from the spear room "April?" she says rushing over "April, honey" she stops at the door to see the redhead on the floor attempting to put together a crib "How's my favourite redhead?"
"I swear this thing hates me" April whines
Madelyn looks around the room taking i'm the newly painted walls, and the decorations placed neatly all around
"You did this all toady?" Madelyn asks
"Yeah. I got carried away" April admits
"No it's good, it's just you've got to let me do something otherwise I feel useless" Madelyn replies "And actually i'm an expert at putting up cribs, it did it for Sofia, Zola and baby Bailey"
April stands up and walks over to the brunette "Okay, you do it. I'm sure you'll do a fine job" she says tucking Madelyn's hair behind her ear
"Do you know how perfect you are?" Madelyn asks as she pulls April in by her waist
The redhead blushes and in an attempt to disguise this she buries her head in the crook of Madelyn's neck "You're making me blush" she mumbles
Madelyn chuckles "I know. It's cute" the brunette says
"It's not cute, it's embarrassing" April says lifting her head up so her eyes meet Madelyn's
The brunette kisses Aprils forehead "You mean everything to me" she whispers
April gently takes ahold of Madelyn's face "Our baby is going to be the luckiest girl in the world" she says
"Or the luckiest boy...I'm definitely team boy" Madelyn says
April pulls Madelyn in for a kiss "Whatever, our baby will be the luckiest baby...because you, you are just amazing"
"You know, I don't think you realise how much of the good in me came from you" Madelyn says "You truly changed my life for the better"
"Oh Mads" April whispers "I don't- I can't even-"
Madelyn cuts her off with a kiss "Wanna watch the notebook?" she asks once they pull away
"You hate the notebook" the redhead says
"Yeah but you love it, and I love you" Madelyn says
April kisses Madelyn's cheek as she heads into the living room "I love you" she says
Madelyn smiles to herself, taking another look around the room still finding it hard to believe she's actually going to be a mom
