"'maybe i'll find you in some other life"

~~~~~
"Hey. Did you guys see this e-mail?" Maggie asks
"What e-mail?" Madelyn replies
She shows it to the Shepherd sisters on her phone "An education consultant is making a visit to observe and assess our program"? Who is Dr. Eliza Minnick?" Madelyn asks
"Uh, education consultant, double board certified, sports-medicine specialist. Published 52 papers in the Journal of Surgical Education. 52?!" Amelia exclaims
"I hate her already" Madelyn mutters
~~~~~

"Okay, why are we in the clinic?" Maggie asks

"The hospital has eyes" Madelyn replies

"Well, whatever it is, just make it quick. No residents this morning really screwed up my schedule" Arizona says

"Look, I found this" Madelyn says pulling out a notebook "It's Minnick's notebook. Well, it's not so much her notebook as it is a notebook that she wrote in and left behind"

"Stealer" Nathan says

Alex then opens the door "You can't be in here. I get in trouble when you guys are in here"

"Shut the door" Madelyn demands

"No, get out!" Alex replies

"All right, no problem" Nathan says beginning to leave

"No, no, no. Just hold on. Look. It's a list. The attendings' names... ranked. The residents sold us out" Madelyn says

"What? Where am I on it?" Arizona asks

"I don't know, but Maggie is at the bottom of the list" Madelyn says

"What?! I have never been at the bottom of any teacher's list. I am a top-of-the-list person" Maggie exclaims

"Turns out, so am I. Look at that" Nathan says

"Ha, i'm at the top" Madelyn says

"I'm not even on there" Arizona says

"So what? Neither am I" Alex says

"Well, of course you're not. Because you're not... Because you work in the clinic now, and you're not..." Madelyn says

"Nope. No more. Get out" Alex says when Amelia walks in

"Mads, you paged?" Amelia asks

"Yeah, Minnick ranked the attendings in order. There's a list. Guess where I am" Madelyn says

"That's it? I have a patient with a possible spinal fracture. You paged me "911" to look at a list?" Amelia replies taking a look
