As Camilo opened the door, Before he could say something, a woman wearing a yellow dress ran up to him and said while a rain cloud was above her head " Oh Camilo! where were you! you had me worried sick and-"
" Mom, Mom.." Camilo laughed " I'm really fine."
The woman pulled away from Camilo and said " Next time, don't walk off like that, okay?"
" Okay mom." Camilo sighed " Oh, anyways, this is Y/n. Y/n this is my mom."
As Camilo's mom turned to me, I weakly said " Hello..?"
She then gasped at examined around me and said " oh my god! you're all wet, and there's some bandages all over you?!? What happened?!"
Before I could say anything, she looked up at my ears and tail and said " Sorry to ask but, WHAT are you?"
I replied " I'm half human and half cat, also known as a neko."
Camilo's mom looked impressed, she then grabbed my shoulder and said " Y/n, how about you wash up and I'll ask Mirabel to make you some clothes for you to sleep in. And plus, you're just in time for dinner."
" You guys didn't eat yet?" Camilo asked
" Nope." replied Camilo's mom " We were about to, but Dolores noticed that you were gone."
" oh."
As Camilo and his mom kept on talking, I walked upstairs to find the bathroom, as I did, I started to take my shower and though how nice Camilo brought me into this nice house, but the problem is: Will I trust him and his family?

After I took my shower, I noticed my night gown hanging in the door knob, as I put on my dress, It felt soft but, Since Camilo and his mom saw my cat ears and tail, I'm not sure if the rest of his family will like my appearance, So I decided to hide my tail, I grabbed a brush and brushed my ears to my hair so nobody could tell that I'm a neko and could tell that I'm a human.
As I left the bathroom, I walked upstairs and peaked my head and saw a family of Ten eating dinner. " wow." I said to myself " what a big family."
As Camilo turned to me, he yelled out waving his hand " HEY! Y/N! OVER HERE!!"
Okay Y/n take a deep breath, and act like you're human. As I entered the kitchen, Camilo's expression changed and so did his mom.
" Uh.. hello?" I waved while smiling awkwardly " I'm Y/n L/n, the girl Camilo saved."
The older lady looked up and down at me and said " You look way different the way Camilo and Pepa told me."
' Oh shit, she'll know."
The older lady then smiled at me and said " But, you seem like a nice person, Go ahead and sit down."
As I found an empty seat by Camilo and a woman wearing a bun, Camilo tapped on my shoulders and whispered on my ear and said " Where are your ears and tail?"
I whispered back " I brushed my ears and hid my tail."
Just before Camilo could say something else, the older lady blurted out " Y/n!"
I jumped out of my seat a bit and said " Y-Yes?!"
The older lady smiled and said " So tell us all about yourself."
Dammit, I don't really want to tell them my horrible memories, I have to think of a lie
I replied " Well, I'm fifteen years old and I'm an artist and, that's pretty much it."
The family members looked impressed, then the woman with the bun said " Wait, didn't your family left you for-"
" NO!" I yelled as I cut her off, while sweating.
" um.. Y/n?" the woman wearing a blue dress said as she looked up at me " Are you okay."
" I'm fine.." I laughed. " Why'd you asked?"
The woman didn't reply, as everyone continued eating, as I took a bite of my food, I taste it and was impressed, This food taste amazing! It's been fifteen years since I've eaten!
As I continued eating my food, I noticed a man wearing a suit was sneezing.
" Bless you." I yelled slightly
" Thanks mija." smiled the man " I don't even know why I'm sneezing, We don't even have a cat."
I gasped a bit loud, Then a girl wearing green glasses looked at me and said " did you just gasp."
" no." I lied. As everyone continued eating, I felt my ears getting itchy, as I slightly scratched it, I stopped, but then the woman with a bun said " what am I feeling?"
" What are you feeling?" asked Camilo
" Something soft, it's kinda storking my leg."
I quickly pulled my tail to my leg and as the woman looked down, she quickly put her head up and then turned to her Camilo's mom and whispered something, then she passed it down to a short man wearing yellow clothes, then passed it down to girl wearing a splattered dress, then passed it down to the girl with the green glasses, then passed it down to a girl who had mussels, then passed it down the to woman wearing a blue dress, then passed it down to a man wearing a suit, then passed it down to the older lady.
The woman looked at me with a shock look on her face.
" Camilo.." I whispered to Camilo
" Y-yeah?" He whispered back
" If I get kicked out, then I would like to thank you for bringing me here."
" Yeah, no problem." Camilo smiled
" Y/n...." the older lady said " Tell me the truth, are you a half human and half cat?"
I sighed and said " Yes." As I fixed my hair, showing everyone my ears, I said in the verge of tears " I was born like this... and my family abandoned me for fifteen years..."
The family stayed silent, then the older lady said " And you have no where else to go?"
I shook my head and said " nowhere.. and I'm sorry I'm a burden to you... I-I'll just leave.."
As I got up from my seat, The older lady said my name and said " Y/n, wait, don't go."
As I turned around, the older lady talked to the man wearing the suit. The man turned to me and said " Y/n, Listen, I may be allergic to cats.. but you're half human, so my allergies aren't bad.. so you can stay!"
I smiled brightly and said " R-Really?!"
The older lady smiled and said " Yes, but Camilo."
" Yes?"
" Make sure you protect Y/n at all costs, that goes for you guys as well, agree?"
" Agreed!" Everyone yelled
Camilo then ran up to me and hugged me and said " Y/n! this is great! You have a home now!"
" And it's all thanks to you!" I smiled as I hugged him back.
